AT&T to launch Gingerbread update for all Android devices sold this year

If you live in USA and you recently bought an Android powered device from AT&T, then I got some good news for you. Today, AT&T officially announced that all Android phones sold in 2011 will receive Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. They announced that HTC Inspire 4G will receive it sometime in September and as you people may know that Atrix 4G recently received it, which means AT&T is on the roll at the moment. iPhone 5 hitting USA on September 5, International launch on October 5?

From last few months, we are hearing a lot of rumors about the Apple upcoming iPhone. Last month, we first heard that China Mobile will launch the new iPhone in September and then an analyst also claimed it, but he further said that Apple will launch two versions of it, one will be known as iPhone 5 and other will be iPhone 4S. Google Nexus S for AT&T exclusively available at BestBuy

Google Nexus S was officially launched last year which was launched as successor to Nexus One, and it was also the first one to run on Gingerbread a.k.a Android 2.3. In USA, T-Mobile was the first carrier to officially launch it and then few months ago, Sprint launched its 4G version. Apple Files Second Complaint Against HTC

Apple has just filed a second patent infringement complaint against HTC. The first complaint was issued for infringement of 20 patents.. Apple has asked to block the import of “personal electronic devices” manufactured by HTC.

T-Mobile officially launched myTouch 4G last year, which is a good looking device and currently exclusive to T-Mobile in USA. Now it looks like T-Mobile and HTC are gearing up to launch the successor to myTouch 4G and it will be known as myTouch 4G Slide.
