Qualcomm today announced that it is integrating WPA3 support across mobile and networking infrastructure products. WPA3 was introduced back in January and is the industry’s newest Wi-Fi security and provides robust protection for user passwords and stronger privacy in both public and private Wi-Fi networks. NETGEAR today launched R6080 and R6120 802.11ac Dual Band AC1000 & AC1200 Wi-Fi routers for home. As per the company claims, the R6080 & R6120 is expected to deliver Wi-Fi speeds up to 700mbps and 900mbps, respectively. In a bid to provide connectivity in remote areas, Indian Railways will set up Wi-Fi hotspot kiosks at about 500 stations under a new scheme. Dubbed as Railwire Saathi, the WiFi hotspots will help people access an array of online services, including various government schemes, said a PTI report.
