Google will no longer bring an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The company has announced that Chrome 42 will be the last update for Android 4.0.
We all know that Google has its own face recognition technology which was unveild to us with Ice Cream sandwich and the face unlock. But looks like Google is looking for more and has decided to acquire face recognition company Viewdle for around $45 million.

LG Mobile is being quite aggressive this year when it comes to launching attractive Android smartphones running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. LG Mobile has announced three international models running on ICS apart from a few Gingerbread running devices at MWC 2012. Post the Android 4.1 announcement at Google I/O a few days back, Samsung has finally begun the Android 4.0 update roll out to its tablet lineup. Starting off with the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the rest of the devices still stuck on Honeycomb should get the update shortly.
