Lenovo-owned Motorola is said to be working on a new smartphone codenamed ‘Odin’ which will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 chipset and 5G Moto Mod support. After Moto G7, now Moto G7 Plus has surfaced in press render. This reveals a similar water-drop notch display, but this will come with a slightly larger 6.4-inch screen compared to 6-inch screen. This is said to feature a similar glass back, dual rear cameras, fingerprint sensor embedded with Motorola logo, USB Type-C port, and a bottom-mounted speaker grille. Motorola just announced that it has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the One Power Android One smartphone in India, as it had promised at the launch in September. At the launch the company also promised Android Q update for the phone, as well as security updates for three years from the initial global launch date. After live images back in August, and renders last month, we have the first press render of the Moto G7, the successor of Moto G6. The phone has also been certified by the FCC in U.S. with the model number XT-1965. This confms Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 3000mAh battery and dimensions.

Motorola launched One Power, the company’s first Android One smartphone in India last week priced competitively at Rs. 15,999. The phone went on sale for the first time exclusively on Flipkart at 12 noon. The company said that the phone went out of stock instantly and also said that it sold around 100 units per second, however it did not share the number of units sold.

Motorola has launched One Power Android One smartphones in India as it had promised. It was introduced at the IFA a 6.2-inch 19:9 aspect ratio Full HD+ display with a notch and 81% screen-to-body ratio, has dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with a Motorola logo. It runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) and the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update as well as Android Q update for the phone, as well as security updates for three years from the initial global launch date. It also has support for Widevine Level 1 DRM so that you can stream Netflix and Amazon Video in HD resolution.
