Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go Edition) with 5.34-inch 18:9 display, fingerprint sensor announced

Motorola introduced the Moto G6 series and the Moto E5 series, including the Moto E5 Play smartphone recently. Now it has introduced the new Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go Edition) version. It has a 5.34-inch  FWVGA+ 18:9 aspect ratio display compared to the 5.2-inch HD screen on the standard E5 Play model. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 425 SoC, but this has 1GB of RAM. Cameras, front-ported loudspeaker and the fingerprint sensor on the back, on the Moto logo are similar, but this has a slightly smaller 2100mAh battery. Moto E5 Plus with 6-inch 18:9 display, 5000mAh battery and Moto E5 launched in India starting at Rs. 9999

Motorola just launched the  Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plussmartphones in the Moto E series in India, as it had promised. The Moto E5 and E5 Plus pack 5.7-inch and 6-inch HD+ screens and 4000mAh and 5000mAh battery, respectively. Both these run Android 8.0 (Oreo) with Moto Display and Moto Action and feature a fingerprint sensor on the back on the Motorola logo. Moto Camera updated with Google Lens, YouTube Live, Google Photos integration, new UI and more

Motorola has updated its camera app to version 7.2.19.8 that brings several new features including Google Lens support inside the camera app that brings object and landmark recognition, but this simply launches the Google app. This was announced by Google at the I/O, and Sony smartphones got the feature recently.
