Right on the heels of the SE Nozomi leak comes the Sony Ericsson MT27i also called the Pepper. The handset appears to be the successor the Sony Ericsson Neo. The design seems to follow a two tone color scheme featuring black and white body panels.

Xperia X10 getting Android 2.1 next week?

SE Spain has confirmed that Android 2.1 for SE Xperia X10 is coming out in the 38th week, which is actually 20th to 26th September. Sony Ericsson recently announced that they will bring Android 2.1 to Xperia X10 family in Q3, and Q3 is already here, so now SE is ready to fulfill their promise. Sony Ericsson post poor profits amidst crisis

Its a lonely world. Motorola was really feeling lonely, as Samsung, LG were reporting better profits while its prospects were hitting the floor. Feel no more. Sony Ericsson has finally heeled to its pathetic designs.

Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson is reporting a steep 97 percent drop in second-quarter earnings as tougher market conditions hurt its sales.

Sony Ericsson W960i Official launch

The handset has been in the market for more than a month. But Sony Ericsson launched it officially a few days ago.

So what is the Sony Ericsson W960i?

It is a walkman phone with 160 MB phone memory that can store about 25 hours of music listening time. It has an 8GB in-built flash memory that can sore an astounding 8000 songs. A touch phone that has a super screen to watch videos or browse the Web.

Sony Ericsson W350

Not much about this handset was revealed by Sony Ericsson at the launch, although at first glance, this handset is one helluva good looking mobile phone!

All we know for now are the dimensions: 104 x 43 x 10.5 mm and the weight is the modest 80g.

The handset features 1.9″ display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, capable of showing up to 262K colors.

With this handset it is certain that folks at Sony Ericsson are trying to revive the uncommon flip-down form factor. Personally I think the flip down look is sleek and prevents unwanted flicking of buttons on the keypad by all and sundry. Continue reading “Sony Ericsson W350”
