Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition with 5.8-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, Snapdragon 660, water-resistant body announced

Samsung has finally introduced the rumored Galaxy S8 Lite smartphone as Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition (SM-G8750) in China. It has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ Infinity display, is powered by Snapdragon 660 with 4GB RAM, comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, both with f/1.7 aperture. It runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) with Samsung’s own experience UI on top. Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 sales surpass 50 million globally


Samsung has announced that the combined sales (to channels and distributors) of Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 has crossed 50 million globally. Samsung Galaxy S that was launched in June 2010 sold 24 million units and the Samsung Galaxy S2 sales crossed 28 million units, 13 months after its debut. Samsung Galaxy Note that was launched last October topped 7 million units in just 7 months. It crossed the 5 million mark in March. Samsung Galaxy S2 sales cross 20 million units

Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S2 sales (to channels and distributors) have surpassed 20 million units worldwide, 10 months after the launch. The 4.3-inch Android phone with super AMOLED Plus display was launched in Korea last April and later launched in other Asian and European countries Worldwide. 1 million units of Galaxy S2 were sold in Korea in the first 30 days. The combined sales of Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 has crossed 30 million globally. The Samsung Galaxy S2 sales crossed 10 million this September which is quicker than any device in Samsung’s history, since its launch 5 month ago. The phone was launched in Korea this April and later launched in other Asian and European countries Worldwide. 1 million units of Galaxy S2 were sold in Korea in the first 30 days. AT&T and Samsung to announce something special on May 5th, Nexus S or Galaxy S II?

Google Nexus S was announced by Google and Samsung last year which is successor to Nexus One and also the first ever Gingerbread device. It’s currently available in almost every major country and in USA, T-Mobile and Sprint is offering it. Sprint got the 4G version whereas the one on T-Mobile is just normal one.
