Sony has announced LinkBuds (WF-L900) with a unique open ring design, spatial sound technologies, after it surfaced yesterday. Sony said that it will create new sound experiences with its partners, with a focus on AR gaming, sound AR navigation, new work-from-home experiences, and quick access to music. The company said that it is working with Niantic for the popular game “Ingress” to create an even more immersive AR and sound experience.

Sony acquires Destiny game developer Bungie in $3.6 billion deal

Lately, the console wars between Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox seem to be focused in another direction – acquisition of game studios. Last month, Microsoft purchased Activision Blizzard in an expensive $68.7 billion deal, and now Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced their acquisition of Bungie developer in a $3.6 billion deal.
