Sony PS5 DualSense controller gets Midnight Black and Cosmic Red colour variants

At launch of the PlayStation 5, Sony only announced one colour scheme for the new Dualsense controller, which has a black and white dual tone finish. Sony has now introduced two new colours for the Dualsense, namely Midnight Black and Cosmic Red.

Sony sold 7.8 million PlayStation 5 units till March 2021; 0.4 million smartphones in Q4 FY 2020

Sony Corporation has reported an operating profit of 971.9 billion yen, up 14.9% YoY on 2,220.4 billion yen revenue, up 26.9% YoY for the Fourth quarter of the financial year 2020 that ended March 31, 2021. It reported that sales of PlayStation 5 reached 7.8 million cumulative units as of the end of March since it started selling in November. The company sold 4.5 million in the last year, so it has added 3.3 million units in the first 3 months of this year. Sony Mobile has announced Xperia 10 III (pronounced mark 3), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone along with the Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 III. It features a 6-inch 21:9 Wide Full HD+ OLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz Touch sampling rate, has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 690 5G with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 11, and features triple rear cameras including 12MP (main) +8MP (telephoto) and 8MP (120° ultra-wide) and an 8MP front camera. Sony SRS-RA3000 wireless speakers with built-in 360 Reality Audio technology launched in India

During their CES 2021 event, Sony unveiled the SRS-RA3000 wireless speakers, featuring support for their 360-degree Reality Audio technology, Chromecast built-in and Spotify Connect. Sony has now announced that the SRS-RA3000 will be available in India from this week.

Sony sold 4.5 million PlayStation 5 units, 1 million smartphones in Q3 FY 2020

Sony Corporation has reported an operating profit of 359.2 billion yen, up 20% YoY on 2,696.5 billion yen revenue, up 9% YoY for the third quarter of the financial year 2020 that ended December 31, 2020. It reported that sales of PlayStation 5 reached 4.5 million cumulative units as of the end of December since it started selling in November. Sony PlayStation 5 Review: Defining the next generation of console gaming

After a year of teasing us with the design, specs and upcoming games, Sony has finally launched their next generation game console in India, the PlayStation 5. The console has been in development for many years now, and has some major upgrades over the PlayStation 4 Pro, which was released more than 4 years ago. Similar to the last generation, Sony chose AMD CPUs and GPUs to power the console, and they are significantly more powerful than any of the previous generation.

After using it for about a week, and playing some of the launch titles, here are our thoughts and review of the Sony PlayStation 5.

This reveals that the phone will stick to 6.5-inch 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR display, which is same as the predecessor, but the bezels on the front have been reduced.
