Apple at its special event announced its seventh-generation iPad with a larger 10.2-inch Retina Display. It has support for the full-sized Smart Keyboard, Apple Pencil support, A10 Fusion chip, advanced cameras and sensors. It features an enclosure made from 100 percent recycled aluminum with the same strength, durability and finish as the aluminum in all Apple products. The LTE version has Gigabit-class LTE connectivity. It still has Touch ID below the display.

It packs a 10-inch (1280 x 800 Pixels) display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8765B processor, runs on Android Pie, has a 2-megapixel front and rear cameras. Lenovo has introduced new Tab M7 and Tab M8, two new tablets in the M series ahead of IFA 2019 next week. The Tab M7 has a 7-inch WSVGA screen and the Tab M8 comes in HD and Full HD options. These have built-in Kid’s Mode 3.0 that offers rich and customized kids’ content for children under 12 years of age. “Kids who pick up the tablet will be switched directly to their kids’ account, which features a child-friendly interface with access to games, built-in applications, videos, audio and books that offer educational content in 44 languages,” said the company.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab S6, successor of last year’s Galaxy Tab S4, as it had promised. It has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA screen, is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN, similar to the predecessor and has got rid of the Iris scanner in favor of in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy Tab S6 has an 8-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel 123-degree Ultra Wide camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It has a 5.7mm slim metal body.

Huawei just announced MediaPad M6 series 10.8″ and 8.4″ along with the Nova 5 series in China. It comes in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch versions with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, are powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 980 SoC and run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1 on top. These pack a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera. These feature a metal frame, but only the 10.8-inch model has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. Amazon has introduced new 9th generation Fire 7 tablet, successor of the model that was introduced back in 2017. This has a 16 GB of internal storage, up from 8GB, and also comes in 32GB version. It also has a faster processor, says the company.

Amazon has introduced its 8th Generation Fire HD 8 for this year. This is almost similar specifications as the previous Fire HD 8 model, but this comes with Alexa hands-free that lets you ask Alexa to play a song, pause a movie, video call a friend or family member, and more—using only your voice, even when your screen is on standby. It has a new 2-megapixel front camera, up from VGA in the previous generation, and also runs new Fire OS 6, but it is still based on Android Nougat.

Tab E8 has an 8-inch HD display, supports by Dolby Atmos, has a slim and light profile at 8.9mm thin and weighing 320g, while offering up to 10 hours of local video playback.
