Lenovo today launched the Tab P11 Pro, the company’s latest top-end tablet in the P series in India after it was introduced back in September last year. In a report by Canalys, worldwide PC shipments, which include tablet shipments, has reached 458.2 million units during 2020, which calculates to a growth of 17% YoY. During the 4th quarter alone, the market shipped 143.7 million units, which is a growth of 35% YoY. Leading the market is Lenovo, followed by Apple, HP, Dell, and Samsung.

While the COVID-19 pandemic caused most consumer electronics markets to decline in 2020, the worldwide tablet shipment went the opposite way and recorded strong growth of 18.6% YoY in Q2 2020. A total of 38.6 million units were shipped and Apple maintained its top position, followed by Samsung, Huawei, Amazon and Lenovo.
