HTC has just taken to twitter to let its fans and users know that the One M8 will be getting the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow within 48 hours and that the One M9 will follow in its footsteps shortly after.

HTC had previously teased the announcement of two devices later this month on 29th. Many believed that they would be launching the HTC A9 Hero on that date and that the device would have two versions. However, a new leak confirms that HTC will be announcing an updated One M9+ and a Butterfly 3 at the event.

If you remember well, a report that came out last month stated that HTC’s One M9 shipments were 43% lower than their One M8 shipments during the same timeframe last year. HTC have been having a lot of trouble recently both in terms of their devices as well as financial woes. A new report states that the number of HTC One M9 shipments are lower than the number of One M8 shipments. Shipments of the One M9 are expected to be 43.75 percent lower than the One M8 managed after its first three months since launch.

DxO, the company behind the famous camera benchmarking site dxomark is set to announce a new lens style camera that can be attached to your smartphone. It has a 1 inch sensor and is a product that is very similar to the Sony QX10 and QX100 products from Sony.
HTC has just announced the One ME in China and it is possibly best described as a version of the HTC M9+ with a plastic body and without the secondary rear camera. The device is still quite high end in terms of specifications.

The HTC One M9+ was announced globally in Beijing on 8th April and was launched locally in India on April 14th. The handset will be making its way to the stores on May 3rd at a retail price of Rs 52,500. We managed to get our hands on the device so please stay tuned for that. OnePlus has received a breather as the Delhi High Court lifted ban on sale of OnePlus One handsets in India. The company was earlier imposed a ban on December 16 from the same court.
It looks like OnePlus is working on the second generation of its popular Android smartphone OnePlus One. The company has posted a message hinting about a new flagship phone.
