LG has come up with an interesting feature called QSlide to add to the multitasking function on the Optimus G emphasizing its approach of pushing forward Android’s capabilities.
We all know that Google has been working on a self driving car, but while kids are using their Android devices to drive miniature cars, Nissan has been trying to replicate it with the NSC 2015. Think of a future where you reach your office and get out of the car and press a button on your phone to park the car and the car automatically parks it. Now that will save us a lot of time and also make our lives easy.
Samsung has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be available from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular starting in June. It would come 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 2.0 to guard against cracks and scratches and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz processor. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S III in India. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S III earlier this month at an Event in London and the pre-booking started in India on Samsung eStore couple of weeks back. The Galaxy S III packs in 4.8 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 has crossed 9 million units worldwide according to a report by Korea Economic Daily. This includes the unit sold to more than 290 carriers in 145 countries. The entire world is eager to see what Samsung has to offer in the Galaxy S III which is said to be launching on May 3. There has been loads of rumors, supposedly leaked images, and many stories about the S III and its components. Well, this is one more leak about the galaxy S III but this time it’s the user guide with specs which has been leaked.
Samsung Galaxy S III has been on the radar from quite sometime, there were rumors that Samsung is reviewing their launch of the quadcore beast at MWC, meanwhile in UAE Samsung’s official page listed GT I9300 (Galaxy S III) under the Mobile product name. Which not only proves that Galaxy S III exists but also that it might come sooner than we expect.
We all have been hearing about the quadcore Exynos which might feature in the Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung mentioned in their earnings call today that currently they are sampling the Exynos 5250 SoC and will probably start the mass production for their devices from Q2 2012 on wards if everything goes right.
Last year was not a great year for HTC, their target profit was not achieved and also their devices were overpowered by the smartphones and tablets coming out of Samsung’s camp . Partnership with Beats did not market their products to a great extent. This year they are expecting to make their device superior and more powerful, and they will be leading the charge with is the HTC Edge, a quadcore nVIDIA Tegra 3 powered beast, which they will be showcasing at MWC.
