AT&T to launch Gingerbread update for all Android devices sold this year

Today, AT&T officially announced that all Android phones sold in 2011 will receive Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. Google Nexus S for AT&T exclusively available at BestBuy

Bloomberg: Samsung Smartphone sales may have surpassed Apple and Nokia


Samsung may have surpassed the sales of the Apple and Nokia smartphones in the second quarter of 2011 reports Bloomberg. Samsung is estimated to have sold between 18 million and 21 million smartphones globally in the April-June quarter, while Nokia sold 16.7 million and Apple sold 20.3 million iPhones. Sprint To Roll Out Software Update For Google Nexus S 4G On July 25

Samsung launching Galaxy 3D later this year?

Earlier this year, Samsung announced their new flagship device which is known as the Samsung Galaxy S II and they are selling it very well. Well, now it looks like Samsung is working on a new Galaxy device as our friends over at Sammy Hub spotted on Korean website ETNews that Samsung is working on a device which will feature a 3D display and would be known as Galaxy 3D. Google Nexus S To Be Available On AT&T From July 24

The Google Nexus S and the Nexus S 4G are already available for T-Mobile and Sprint customers respectively. But Google recently announced that, the powerful Nexus S will be fianally available for the AT&T customers, starting this weekend.

Last year, Google announced the first smartphone powered by the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System, the Google Nexus S. This handset comes with a 4 inch WVGA SUPER AMOLED display, 1 GHz application processor, 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording and so on. The Google Nexus S and the Nexus S 4G are already available for T-Mobile and Sprint customers respectively. Samsung Galaxy S II was officially announced back in February and they launched it as their flagship device and trust me, Galaxy S II is really an amazing and considered as one of the best Android devices available in the market at the moment. Well, it’s available in countries like UK and India too, but what’s shocking is that it’s still not officially launched in US market which is considered as one of the largest mobile phone markets. Samsung Galaxy R hitting UK by the end of July

We recently told you that Samsung is launching little brother of Samsung Galaxy S2 which is known as the Samsung Galaxy Z and it’s a cheap alternative of Samsung’s flagship device. It was only introduced in Sweden first but now it looks like Samsung is planning to launch it in UK too as CNET is reporting that Samsung will launch it as Samsung Galaxy R and it will hit UK by the end of July, and I am sure this is good news for all people who loves SGS2 but it’s too expensive for them. At the moment, we don’t know which carrier or retailer is launching it and for how much? But I am sure the carriers and retailers who are interested in this device will be announcing it soon. Galaxy Q With 5.3″ Display Coming At IFA ?

If a report published in Yahoo Korea is to be believed , Samsung Mobiles might be working on a breakthrough cross-over device. The rumored Galaxy Q is said to come with a 5.3″ Super AMOLED display. Internal specs are yet unknown but we’d expect Samsung’s powerful Exynos chip to run the show here.

Samsung upcoming WP7 Mango device revealed by Microsoft

A few days ago, we reported that Samsung will be launching the WP7 version of Galaxy S II and it will be Samsung’s first ever Mango device and guess what? Microsoft officially unveiled the Samsung upcoming device during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner conference this Tuesday and the device looks a lot like the SGS2.
