MIUI 11 Global launch set for October 16 alongside Redmi Note 8 Pro in India

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 11, the next major MIUI update in China last month, and stable MIUI 11 for the first set of devices is already rolling out in China. Today MIUI India has officially confirmed that the global launch for MIUI 11 will happen on October 16th, along with the Redmi Note 8 Pro launch.

It has a 6.22-inch HD+ Dot Notch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 439 12nm Mobile Platform, compared to Snapdragon 632 in the Redmi 7, comes with up to 4GB RAM, features a 12-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, same as the Redmi 8A, comes with AI scene detection for 33 scenes, has a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots and an 8-megapixel camera on the front with AI selfies and portrait mode as well as AI face unlock. How to enable Monochrome mode on Xiaomi smartphones

Google announced the Digital Wellbeing feature last year aimed at being responsible with smartphone usage. Digital Wellbeing helps users understand their smartphone usage better, app usage timers help users limit the usage, visuals detailing how many times the phone was unlocked each day and how many notifications were received. Xiaomi could introduce Mi CC9 Pro with Snapdragon 730G, 108MP camera on October 24

Xiaomi introduced  Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones in China back in July. The Mi CC9e was later introduced as Mi A3 in the Android One lineup. Now new rumors from China have surfaced saying that Mi CC9e Pro in the CC series could be introduced at the end of October.

MIUI 11 New Features and First look on Redmi Note 7 Pro

Mi Watch could be Xiaomi’s first Wear OS smartwatch with its own Mi Wear companion app

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched the Redmi 8A, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with Dot Notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 SoC with up to 3GB RAM and runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, but comes with face unlock.
