Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with HDR support, 2.05mm narrow top frame, 1.8mm narrow left and right borders and 4.2mm bottom border offering 91.4% screen-to-body ratio and has TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. It the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and is the first phone in the price range to feature liquid cooling that will reduce the temperature of the phone by 4 to 6 degrees.
Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched the Redmi Note 8, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Note series in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform with up to 6GB RAM, features a 48-megapixel main camera with 4-in-1 pixel binning for low-light shots, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 2cm macro shots. Google announced the Digital Wellbeing feature last year aimed at being responsible with smartphone usage. Digital Wellbeing helps users understand their smartphone usage better, app usage timers help users limit the usage, visuals detailing how many times the phone was unlocked each day and how many notifications were received. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst best-selling devices last year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat, and was updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) in June 2018. The company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update to the smartphone back in May this year, the device is almost 18 months old and has already received two Android updates. Update: October 3, 2019 — Xiaomi has confirmed that Redmi 8 will launch in India on October 9th on Flipkart. India VP Manu jain has also teased 4GB + 64GB version for the phone.
Xiaomi introduced Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones in China back in July. The Mi CC9e was later introduced as Mi A3 in the Android One lineup. Now new rumors from China have surfaced saying that Mi CC9e Pro in the CC series could be introduced at the end of October.
