As per the specifications, Redmi 7 looks like a younger Redmi Y3 sibling with an 8 MP front camera but priced 1000 INR cheaper compared to it’s elder sibling. Redmi smartphone with pop-up front camera, Snapdragon 855 teased officially

After rumors, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has official posted a teaser of its upcoming flagship smartphone. This shows a pop-up front camera and a no-notch display. Redmi President Lu Weibing already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 and retain the 3.5mm audio jack. He also said that the phone will offer good performance, longer battery life, better camera, higher screen-to-body ratio with pop-up camera design.

Xiaomi Redmi Go Review: Every 500₹ matters

India is a big country, with a big spectrum of consumers buying smartphones. You can find almost every price category being contested upon by a large number of companies, big and small. While the 10-15K segment garners most attention, the lower end 5K segment is seeing a quiet but important upgrade. The Redmi Go (4,500₹) is for the first time smartphone buyer who is coming from a mostly-offline world. For them, every 500 Rs. matters indeed, as Xiaomi representatives emphasised at the launch event.

I’ve been using the Redmi Go for a while now to understand whether it is worth recommending to the first time buyer. This is my review.

Xiaomi smartphone powered by Snapdragon 730 launching in India soon

Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain has announced that he has met Rajen Vagadia, VP and President Qualcomm India and Kedar Kondap, VP, product management, Qualcomm regarding the next Xiaomi smartphone that will be powered by Snapdragon 7 series SoC that was announced two weeks back. This should be the Snapdragon 730 that was introduced on April 9th.

Xiaomi starts crowdfunding for Mi LED Smart Bulb in India for Rs. 999

Xiaomi introduced its Mi LED Smart Bulb along with its Redmi Y3 launch in India event earlier this week. As promised, it has started crowdfunding for smart bulb in the country. It is a 10W bulb with 800 Lumens of brightness, comes with support for Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant, and doesn’t require a separate bridge like Philips Hue. It comes with E27 socket so you have to purchase the B22 converter separately.

Xiaomi just announced its 2019 lineup of smart TVs in the E-Series that includes E32A 32-inch HD, E43A 43-inch FHD, E55A 55-inch and E65A 65-inch 4K HDR TVs. All these come with Bluetooth voice remote control, PatchWall interface and are powered by quad-core 64-bit processors. These have full-screen TVs have screen-to-body ratio since these have customized full-screen panel that combines the screen and the middle frame. These come with a metal stand.
