Xiaomi introduced system-wide Dark mode in MIUI last year, the dark mode brought the dark theme to many system apps such as Phone, Contacts, Messaging, Gallery, Calculator, Notes, Screen Recorder, and Updater. Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 and more start receiving Android 10 update in China

Xiaomi announced Android 10 update roadmap for its devices back in June, but it was only limited to MIUI China ROM. The company rolled out Android 10 based MIUI 10 to Redmi K20 Pro users in India and China on 5th September, the day Google rolled out Android 10 to Pixel devices. Xiaomi is yet to roll out Android 10 update for its Android One series of devices, Mi A3, Mi A2, and Mi A2 Lite, but the company has started rolling out Android 10 based MIUI 11 update to Redmi K20 (Mi 9T). Redmi 7A finally starts receiving MIUI 11 Global Stable update

Update: Redmi 7A MIUI v11.0.2.0 has started rolling out widely after v11.0.1.0 was rolled back. You can download the recover ROM here or the OTA from V10.2.10.0 here and update it manually, if you have not received the update yet.

MIUI Launcher gets App Share shortcut, new fingerprint unlock animation

Xiaomi’s MIUI is well-known for the customizations it offers, despite being user-friendly and customizable, people had some complaints with MIUI such as Notification Shade and MIUI Launcher. Xiaomi hugely improved the notification shade with last two iterations of MIUI but MIUI Launcher didn’t get much improvements and features.
