Xiaomi-backed Black Shark has announced that the Black Shark 2 smartphone succcessor of the Black Shark Gaming Phone that was introduced in China back in April this year, will go official on October 23rd. The phone already got certified by TENAA with model number AWM-A0, revealing a veritical dual rear camera arrangement and rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It also revealed RGB logo on the back.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is amongst best-selling devices launched this year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat despite launching in February and later in June rolled out Android Oreo update. Mi.com was the first technology e-commerce platform in India to offer a reward program called Reward Mi which was announced by Xiaomi India back in June 2017. Xiaomi today announced that it has sold 10 million Redmi 5A smartphones in India in 9 months of launch. It was launched in November last year and it started selling from December. It crossed the 5 million mark in March this year.

After rumors, Xiaomi today announced that it has tied up with homegrown consumer electronics contract manufacturer Dixon Technologies for ‘Make in India’ Mi TV. The plant is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, spread across 32 acres and employs around 850 people. The factory will result in a production capacity of 100,000 Mi LED TVs per month by Q1 2019.

Xiaomi has silently launched the Mi Compact Bluetooth Speaker 2 with a new mesh design in India. This looks like a cheaper version of the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini that was launched in India last year. It has a compact design measuring just 50 x 32mm and weighs just 54 grams.

After leaks, Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi Note 6 Pro, successor of the Redmi Note 5 Pro in Thailand. The major change is the 6.28-inch Full HD+ screen with a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio and dual front cameras, in addition to dual rear cameras. Both these have AI features including AI portrait and AI scene recognition. There is also AI face unlock. Other specifications are almost same as the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
