Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 750G, 108MP quad rear cameras, Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G announced

Xiaomi just announced Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 9 4G  smartphones in China, as it had promised. The top-end Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz 6-stop variable refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 3.8mm tiny notch that houses a 16MP camera. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 750G 7nm Mobile platform with 5G SA/NSA support, 360° antennas, 3 dimension liquid cooling that can reduce the temperature up to 5℃ and comes with glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India last year running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and launched the updated Redmi Note 7S with 48 MP rear camera in May 2019 running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). Get Android 11 on Redmi Note 8/8T with Extended UI 2.0

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 in India almost a year back. The smartphone recently started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 update in several regions including India. Though Google, a couple of months back, officially announced Android 11, some users of Redmi Note 8 – which was the best-selling Android smartphone in the first quarter, are yet to receive Android 10 update on their devices (we too have not received the update on our device yet).

This includes 9 million smartphones led by models such as Mi 10T Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 9 Prime Redmi 9, Redmi 9A amongst others. Xiaomi’s Mi, Redmi and POCO phones are facing ‘find device closed unexpectedly’ reboot issue; Fix coming soon

Xiaomi smartphone users are facing a new issue putting their phones into the bootloop. A couple of days back, Xiaomi users, on various social media channels, started reporting that they are getting ‘Find Device Closed Unexpectedly’ error on their device which leads to bootloop. A few people suggested that the issue was caused by the Airtel Thanks app, and people even confirmed that uninstalling Airtel Thanks app fixed the issue. The issue isn’t limited to one or a few models. Instead, the issue is widespread across all devices running MIUI, be it a POCO, Redmi, or Mi device. MIUI 12 Global Stable update finally brings Sound Assistant for controlling media volume in multiple apps

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its proprietary Android skin, MIUI 12 in China back in April this year. Which was followed by a global announcement in May. Though the MIUI version upgrade brings various new features and updated UI, the company keeps adding nifty features with updates every now and then. A new feature that has recently made it to the MIUI 12 Global Stable is the ability to adjust the sound for individual apps when multiple apps play audio simultaneously, instead of adjusting the entire system volume.

Redmi smartphone with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 48MP triple rear cameras, 6000mAh battery gets certified

A new Redmi smartphone with model number M2010J19SC has been certified by TENAA in China. This is said to be Redmi Note 9 4G, an entry-level phone, however some rumours say that this will launch as Redmi Note 10 4G. TENAA listing reveals a 6.53-inch screen, 6000mAh battery and the dimensions of the phone. 3C certification revealed 22.5W fast charging support for the phone.
