Xiaomi has launched Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones, the company’s latest on-ear Bluetooth headphones in India, as it had promised. It has 40mm dynamic driver, uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to devices, works with voice assistant and promises up to 20 hours of battery life. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will introduce the Mi A3 at an event in Poland on July 25th. Now the press shots and live images of the phone have surfaced. This shows a similar design as the Mi CC9 series that were introduced earlier this month. It is said to feature a 6.08-inch AMOLED screen, but it is said to feature an FHD+ screen instead of HD+ screen on the Mi CC9e and retain the Snapdragon 665 SoC.

Update: July 13, 2019 – Xiaomi has posted a new teaser confirming the Mi A3 name and hints triple rear cameras. The smartphone will be introduced at an event in Warsaw, Poland, which starts at 4PM EST (7:30 PM). It is also expected to introduce the Mi A3 Lite alongside. Press images and live images of the phone have surfaced already.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 almost a year ago in India. The smartphone was a great value for money but had a few issues, such as screen bleeding but the company was very responsive towards addressing the issues. Users have been complaining about the touch issues on POCO F1, the company released various OTA updates to fix the issue but it seems like the issue is still not fixed. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the first Redmi Note 7 smartphone in China back in January, and the Redmi Note 7 Pro made its global debut in India in February. Today the company has announced that the combined sales of Redmi Note 7 series have hit 15 million units globally in about six months of launch. Back in May the company announced 10 million global sales of the phone in 4 months.

Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4A 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models last year running Patchwall based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). These TVs didn’t get any updates, even months after the company released new Android TV models running Android Oreo-based Patchwall. Today the company has started early access program to offer Android 9.0 (Pie) Android TV update directly to these users, skipping Android Oreo. Xiaomi also adds that it is the first TV brand in the country to roll out Android 9 update for its Mi TVs.

Just after the Redmi 7A launch in the country, Realme India CEO took it to Twitter to compare Realme C2 with ‘Smartphone A’ in a couple of tweets and referred to Realme C2 as ‘Desh ka Real Choice’ which was launched back in April.
