Apple reports Q4 2014 revenues at $42.1 billion, 39.3 million iPhones and 12.3 million iPads sold
Apple has reported revenue of $42.1 billion with a net profit of $8.5 billion in their earnings for Q4 2014 that ended September 27, 2014. The international sales in this quarter is 60% of the quarter’s revenue, 1% up compared to last quarter. Apple sold 39.3 million iPhones, 12.3 million iPads, 5.52 million Macs and 2.64 million iPods during the quarter. Uber slashes fares in Delhi by 25% for a limited period
Uber has announced a 25% price cut for both Uber Black and uberX in Delhi. This is effective immediately without any promo codes and is available for a limited period. This makes Uber almost as cheap as auto-rickshaw fares, says Uber.

Apple iPhone 6 Benchmarks
Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus smartphones last month with new Apple A8 chips. These were launched in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the iPhone 6, here we have its benchmarks. The Apple A8 chip in the iPhone 6 has dual-core custom ARMv8 64-bit cores clocked at 1.4GHz per core . It is based on 20nm HKMG process, compared to 28nm on Apple A7 chip. AOC to launch 6-inch phablet and 7-inch tablet in India in November: Report
AOC, popular for its displays and monitors entered into tablet market with the launch of two new Android tablets under the Breeze category in India back in April 2013, now the company is back with another tablet and also plans to enter into the smartphone market next month, according to a report from ET. The AOC D70V50G that has been listed on the official website has a 7-inch display, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has 3G connectivity with voice calling capabilities and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. BBM gets ephemeral messaging with new Timed Messages feature
BlackBerry has introduced new Timed Messages feature in BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) that lets you set a timer to control how long messages and pictures you share with contacts can be viewed. There have been several ephemeral messaging apps after Snapchat. Recently LINE messenger got a similar feature called Hidden Chat. Microsoft even released an app for ephemeral messaging called WindUp for Windows Phone.
