OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant announced in India, available from November 16

OnePlus 6T receives phenomenal reception at pop-up events

As promised, OnePlus unveiled its most expected premium smartphone – OnePlus 6T last week. The company also announced pop-ups in 9 cities across 13 locations – Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jaipur in the country on November 2, 2018. OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant announced officially

After leaks, OnePlus has officially introduced the new Thunder Purple color variant in China that joins the Midnight Black and Mirror Black variants. It has a Gradiant finish on the back and a has five different layers of frosted glass have been carefully applied to the device to create the elegance look and feel. Similar to the Midnight Black, this has a jagged texture etched onto the film to produce a subtle S-shaped line when the phone is reflected in light.

OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 9.0.2 update brings 6T features including Nightscape, Studio Lighting and new navigation gestures

After OnePlus 6 got open beta 6 update earlier this week that brought several features that OnePlus introduced on the OnePlus 6T including new navigation gestures, Nightscape, Studio Lighting and more, the company has rolled out stable OxygenOS 9.0.2 update that with the features. It also adds support to launch Google Assistant or other third party assistant app by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds.

OnePlus 6T launched in India starting at Rs. 37999

OnePlus just launched its flagship OnePlus 6T smartphone at an event in Delhi, as it had promised. It was introduced at an event in New York yesterday, and packs a  6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a tiny notch that also houses three-in-one ambient/distance/RGB sensor and front-facing camera. OnePlus 6T Benchmarks and Gaming Review

OnePlus introduced its flagship OnePlus 6T smartphone yesterday. We already brought you the unboxing and the first impressions of the phone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The OnePlus 6T is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with that has four custom Kryo 385 Performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz per core and four smaller Efficiency Kryo 280 cores are clocked at 1.8GHz per core and has Adreno 630 GPU,  8GB LPDDR4x RAM, same as the predecessor but this has a larger 6.4.1-inch 19.5:9 Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Oxygen OS 9. OnePlus 6T – T-Mobile trade-in program offers $300 credits with over 30 phones

OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 6T smartphone at an event in New York few hours back starting at $549. At the event the company said that the phone will be available with T-Mobile exclusively in the U.S. apart from OnePlus.com.  T-Mobile is offering the phone with $24.17/month x 24 contract so the total price before credits comes to $580.

OnePlus 6T First Impressions

The OnePlus 6 was launched less than 6 months ago. Without a doubt, that’s a remarkably short product cycle and it makes you question why the company decided to refresh the product line. After having spent time with the phone, I’m still conflicted. The 6T is a fine device but it doesn’t do nearly enough to justify its existence given how good the OnePlus 6 already was. OnePlus could’ve very easily saved the enhancements on the 6T for the inevitable OnePlus 7 instead of the piecemeal incremental update approach being taken here. Regardless, let’s take a deeper look at the OnePlus 6T. I’ve been using the phone for the last few days to get a feel for it and here’s what I think about it.
