Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard in a $68.7 billion deal

Microsoft today announced that it will acquire Activision Blizzard for $95.00 per share, in an all-cash transaction valued at $68.7 billion, inclusive of Activision Blizzard’s net cash. Microsoft has launched the new Surface Pro X with Wi-Fi in India, after it was introduced in 2020. The company says that it is the thinnest and the most affordable 13-inch Surface Pro device. Microsoft has launched the Surface Go 3  2-in-1 in India, after it was introduced in September. It has a 10.5-inch PixelSense 3:2 aspect touchscreen display with adjustable kickstand that enables the laptop to be used in multiple form factors. It has 10th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 8GB of RAM, support for the Surface Pen, and runs Windows 11 in Home in S mode. Microsoft moves Windows 10 feature update cycle to annual

Even though the Windows 11 update was released for the eligible devices in October, Microsoft already confirmed that the Windows 10 will get updates till October 2025. Microsoft confirms Windows 11 won’t support most Intel 7th gen and AMD Zen 1 processors, but can be installed with an ISO

Microsoft introduced Windows 11 back in June, and also released the Insider Preview a week later. At that time, it said that Windows 11 requires your device to be running on Intel 8th generation or AMD Zen 2 processors and later. It even released a PC Health Check app, but it was removed later. Today it has officially confirmed that after testing for few months, it said that it will maintain the minimum system requirements as originally set.
