Microsoft to disable TLS 1.0, 1.1 for Edge and Internet Explorer in first-half of 2020

Microsoft has announced it will be disabling ‘Transport Layer Security’ (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 by default in supported versions of Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 in the first half of 2020. This change is in line with announcements from Apple, Google, and Mozilla to supports more performant, secure connections. Microsoft to bring dictation feature to Office web apps

Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 with 8th Gen Intel Core processors, Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphones announced

Microsoft has announced Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2, as well as new Surface Headphones at an event, as it had promised. The  Surface Pro 6 is powered by Intel 8th Gen Quad Core processors and comes in new Black color option. Other specs are similar to the Surface Pro 5.

Microsoft, Volkswagen partner to power connected cars

Volkswagen and Microsoft announced that they are partnering to develop the Volkswagen Automotive Cloud, a dedicated global cloud platform that will provide digital mobility services across the automaker’s portfolio. Volkswagen Automotive cloud will be built from the ground up on top of Microsoft’s Azure cloud and IoT Edge platform as its technology foundation.
