Micromax’s YU has officially launched the YU ACE, the company’s latest budget smartphone, as it had promised. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 SoC with up to 3GB RAM, runs Android 8.0 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash and face unlock. YU launched YUREKA BLACK smartphone back in June running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). This week it has started rolling out Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update for the phone, as it had promised at the launch. YU launched its affordable YUNIQUE smartphone with 4G LTE support back in September last year. Now the YUNIQUE PLUS smartphone has been listed on the official website. The only difference between the two is RAM. The YUNIQUE PLUS has 2GB of RAM compared to 1GB of RAM on the YUNIQUE. Even the internal storage is same as 8GB . YU today announced that it appointed Bharat Singh Malik as the Vice President of Service, Deepak Dahiya as Head of Sales – South and West region and Chandra Kishore as the Head of Sales – North and East region. The new move is aimed at building a robust offline sales network and increasing its focus on customer service. The company launched its YU Yunicorn smartphone recently.
