With their tremendous success in the smartphone business, savvy Indian buyers have had an eye one the robust portfolio of Xiaomi products available in China. This week, popular Chinese company Xiaomi finally launched its Redmi Note 3 smartphone in India. The firm also announced its Mi Bluetooth speaker and the 20000mAh power bank. We have already told you about Xiaomi’s event on the 24th of November where it is even issuing 500 additional tickets to people who want to attend it. The event is likely to see the launch of the Remi Note 2 Pro and/or the Mi 5. But apparently that’s not all since rumors suggest that the company may launch their smartwatch at the same event as well.
In April, Xiaomi stated that they managed to sell over 4 million units of the Mi Band and now in just two months time, it has managed to sell an additional 2 million that brings the total to over 6 million Mi Band’s that have been sold worldwide.

Xiaomi is known to be a success story in its native country ie China and we expected to see competitive pricing for its products here in India too. Color us surprised to see how low a price point Xiaomi has been able to hit with its Mi3. To launch at Rs. 14,999 the phone brings top of the line specifications.
Popular Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is expected to make its debut in India very soon. Ahead of the launch, its website has gone live that proves to be rather short on details but does help create a bit of buzz around the launch. Xiaomi is also making its presence felt via their official Facebook page.
The launch of the website and the company’s India specific social properties makes us believe that Xiaomi devices might go on sale sooner than the Diwali time frame that has been hinted at previously.
