Samsung Portable SSD X5 with up to 2800MBps transfer speed launched in India starting at Rs. 27999

Samsung has launched the Portable SSD X5, its first NVMe 1-based portable solid state drive (SSD) with Thunderbolt 3 support after it was introduced last week. Thunderbolt 3’s 40Gbps bandwidth is up to four times faster than USB 3.13 – the X5 offers a read speed of up to 2,800 MB/s, which is up to 5.2 times faster than the widely used SATA interface portable SSDs and up to 25.5 times faster than external HDDs. It offers fastest maximum write speed of 2,300 MB/s5, enabling users to transfer a 20GB-sized 4K UHD video in just 12 seconds.

Honor 8X Max with 7.12-inch Full HD+display, 5000mAh battery teased, Honor 8X with Kirin 710 gets certified ahead of Sep 5 announcement

Huawei’s Honor brand already confirmed that it will introduced the Honor 8X and 8X Max smartphones at an event in China on September 5th. Today the company confirmed some of the specifications of the 8X Max and also shared some images. This includes a 7.12-inch Full HD+ display with a notch and over 90% screen-to-body ratio, front-ported speaker with Dolby Atoms for 360-degree audio, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, fast charging and more.

Huawei introduces EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) with GPU Turbo 2.0, Natural UX

Huawei at the IFA 2018 last week introduced EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) which will be first introduced with the Mate 20 series that will be launched on October 16th. It said that EMUI has 350 million daily active users across 216 countries and regions. The company said that EMUI 9.0 will feature Natural UX design with integration of nature’s sound and color with natural minimalist style, returning to the natural immersive design. Huawei P20 and P20 Pro sales cross 10 million globally, introduces Morpho Aurora, Pearl White colors, P20 Pro Leather variants

Huawei at the IFA 2018 announced that it has sold 10 million units of P20 Pro and P20 smartphones globally in the first five months. It also introduced new variants in the P20 series. It also said that it has shipped over 10 million units in the Mate 10 series.

Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro with full-screen display, Kirin 980 7nm SoC to be announced on October 16

Huawei at the IFA 2018 announced its flagship Kirin 980 7nm SoC with dedicated dual neural network processing units. At the end of the event it also confirmed that the Mate 20 series – Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro powered by Kirin 980 will be announced at an event in London on October 16th, same date as last year’s Mate 10 series.
