TCL, a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics, has announced multiple new products including the 10.36-inch 10 TABMAX, the 8.0-inch 10 TABMID, the MOVEAUDIO S200 True Wireless earbuds and the MOVETIME Family Watch. Along with this, they also introduced a new display technology called NXTPAPER Display Technology.
At the IFA 2019 HUAWEI introduced its new P30 Pro Mystic Blue and Misty Lavender color variants. The Mystic Blue version is inspired from the evening on the sea. These color will join the Black, Pearl White, Aurora, Amber Sunrise and Breathing Crystal colors. The company’s CEO Richard Yu said that the company has shipped 16.5 million phones globally, achieving 53% growth compared to the predecessor.

HUAWEI just announced Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G SoCs at its IFA event as expected. The Kirin 990 is based on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturer Company’s (TSMC) 7nm process, while the Kirin 990 5G that has built-in 5G modem supporting Sub-6 GHz 5G networks on both SA and NSA architectures and uses TSMC’s latest 7nm plus EUV manufacturing, which helps enable a smaller die size offering 36% board reduction, increased transistor density by 18% and 10% improvement in energy efficiency. These have 16-Core Mali-G76 GPU, compared to 10-Core in the Kirin 980 SoC offering 6% improvement in graphics processing performance.
Motorola has announced One Zoom, the company’s latest quad-camera smartphone at the IFA, after several rumors. It has a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED screen, is powered by Snapdragon 675 with 4GB RAM, runs Android Pie and packs a quad camera set up and a 25-megapixel selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology for better images even in low-light and comes with Face Unlock.
After the Moto E6 back in July, Motorola has announced Moto E6 Plus in the ‘E Series’ at the IFA. It has a 6.1-inch HD+ Max Vision display, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 with 2GB RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, secondary 2-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone has a rear-mounted fingeprint scanner, dedicated dual SIM and a microSD slot and packs a 3000mAh battery.
LG just announced G8X ThinQ (V50S ThinQ 5G), the company’s latest top-end smartphone at the IFA 2019, which will be launched in Korea as with 5G support. It packs a 6.4-inch FullVision FHD+ OLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with improved user interface with a cleaner design, refreshed icons and tabs such as Dial, Call logs, and Contacts moving to the bottom of the display so that users can get even more done with only one hand, has dual rear cameras, 13MP 136-degree super wide-angle and 12MP standard sensor. There is also a 32-megapixel camera that merges four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels for better output.

HMD Global, in addition to range of smartphones and feature phones, also introduced its latest Power Earbuds at the IFA. The true wireless earbuds have IPX7 ratings for water resistance and uses Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The main highlight is the 3000mAh battery inside the portable charging case that lets you charge the 50mAh (each) battery inside earbuds up to 30 times offering 150 hours of battery life.

It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ Waterdrop PureDisplay that uses Dedicated Pixelworks visual processor to upscale video content to HDR quality in real time, with up to a billion shades of colour, higher contrast and expanded dynamic range. It also comes with high brightness and local contrast enhancement, making it easy to view content even in brighter conditions. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 660 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), which is upgradable to Android 10.
