Xiaomi India today teased the launch of new Red version of its Redmi smartphone. The company introduced flame red variant of Redmi Note 5 (called Redmi note 5 Pro in India) back in June, so this could be it. The company currently sells Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold variants of the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India currently.

The company’s VP and India Head last month shared a picture of Redmi devices that included a smartphone with red rear panel which is yet to be introduced in India. It looked like Redmi 5 which was launched in India in March 2018 in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue colors. Since the Redmi 6 series smartphone are launching India on September 5th, we might not see it.
