Nokia 9 PureView with 5.99-inch Quad HD pOLED HDR 10 display, Five rear cameras with ZEISS Optics, in-display fingerprint sensor announced

HMD Global just announced Nokia 9 PureView, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in MWC, as expected . The main highlight of the smartphone is its 12MP penta rear cameras, two RGB and three monochrome lenses to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single colour sensor, with ZEISS Optics. Developed in cooperation with multi-sensor camera company Light, it captures HDR shots using five cameras simultaneously with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map and fuse it together into one 12MP photo with outstanding dynamic range and depth of field to refocus later. It is capable of shooting 60-megapixel images in burst mode and can process up to 240 megapixels of data.

HUAWEI Mate X foldable 5G smartphone announced, features two OLED displays that unfold into a large 8-inch screen

HUAWEI has introduced its first foldable smartphone – Mate X at an event in Barcelona, as it had promised.  It has a 6.6-inch OLED screen on the front and 6.38-inch screen on the back that expands to a 8-inch screen when unfolded. It features a Falcon Wing design with a stretchable hinge for a smooth and flat finish on both sides of the device. The screen doesn’t over stretch while folding or bulge in unfolding. It is just 5.4mm at its thinnest point.

Xiaomi Mi 9 with 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor goes global

Along with the announcement of Mi MIX 3 5G , Xiaomi also introduced its flagship Mi 9 smartphone for the global markets at its MWC 2019 event. It was introduced in China earlier this week, and packs a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 90.7% screen to body ratio, is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 on top. Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G with 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 to roll out starting from May 2019

Xiaomi just announced Mi MIX 3 5G, the company’s first 5G smartphone, as it had promised at the Mi MIX 3 event back in October. It has the same 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 93.4% screen-to-body ratio display, but this comes with Snapdragon 855 7nm SoC with Qualcomm X50 5G modem. It has a ceramic back, hybrid cooling, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a larger 3800mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging as well as 10W wireless charging.

OPPO unveils its first 5G smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855

Other than its 10x optical zoom camera tech, OPPO also unveiled its first 5G smartphone at its ‘Get Closer’ MWC event in Barcelona. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Snapdragon X50 5G modem. OPPO did not share the model number of the phone or when it will launch, but the device shown looked similar to the Find X without a notch. The company even unveiled its 5G-ready prototype based on the Find X, a developer version with integrated communication capabilities in December.

OPPO smartphone with 10x Lossless Zoom Camera coming in Q2 2019

OPPO teased the 10x hybrid optical zoom camera technology at an event in China. As promised, the company has revealed more details about the technology. We already know that the 10x lossless zoom camera tech uses three-camera solution that includes a Super Wide Angle, Ultra Clear main sensor and a Telephoto lens. Today the company has confirmed that the main camera uses a 48-megapixel sensor, a 120 degree ultra-wide lens with equivalent focal length of 15.9mm, which provides wide-angle shots and the telephoto camera offers 159mm equivalent focal length.

NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti announced, offers 1.5x faster performance than GTX 1060, starts at Rs. 25500

After introducing the RTX 2060, NVIDIA has introduced the GTX 1660 Ti, sucessor of GTX 1060. It comes with 6GB of GDDR6 memory, 1536 CUDA Cores, 192-bit memory interface, is built on Turing architecture as used on GeForce RTX GPUs and promises 3x performance than a GTX 960, 1.5x performance than a GTX 1060, and comparable performance to a GTX 1070.

Nokia 6.1 Plus 6GB RAM version launched in India for Rs. 18499

HMD Global launched the  Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in India back in August last year for Rs. 15,999, which is now selling for Rs. 15,499 on official site, and Rs. 13,999 during offer on Flipkart. Today it has launched the 6GB RAM version of the phone in India at Rs. 18,499, available in Blue and Black colors through Nokia.com/phones.  Earlier this month the company launched the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variants of Nokia 5.1 Plus for Rs. 14,499 and Rs. 16,499, respectively earlier this month.
