HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro 5G with 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display, Kirin 990/990 5G, Leica Quad rear cameras announced

HUAWEI today announced its flagship Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro 5G smartphones at an event in Germany, as it had promised. These have 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED edge to edge 88 degre ultra-curved screen, are powered by  Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G  7nm SoCs with dedicated NPUs and run Android 10 with EMUI 10.0 on top, but there will be no Google apps confirmed HUAWEI. These have in-display fingerprint scanner and 3D Face unlock with Depth Sensing Camera and Gesture Sensor to identify your facial features and detect the movement of your hands.

HUAWEI Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro with Kirin 990, circular Leica quad rear cameras and Mate 30 Lite press renders surface

HUAWEI is all set to introduce the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones at an event in Germany on September 19th. Today press image of the phones have surfaced, revealing the design, thanks to @evleaks. This reveals quad rear cameras with LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6-2.4/18-80 ASPH lens for the phones. However, there are three cameras on the front for the Mate 30 Pro inside the notch, and the Mate 30 has a smaller notch since it has dual cameras on the front. These phones are expected to retain 3D face unlock and in-display fingerprint sensor from the Mate 20 series.

HUAWEI Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro to be announced on September 19 in Germany

HUAWEI just confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19th. To remind you, the HUAWEI Mate 10 series was introduced in Munich back in 2017, but last year’s Mate 20 was announced at an event in London. The invite also hints at circular camera module as rumored earlier, and the invite confirms Leica partnership once again.
