HUAWEI Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro with Kirin 990, circular Leica quad rear cameras and Mate 30 Lite press renders surface

HUAWEI is all set to introduce the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones at an event in Germany on September 19th. Today press image of the phones have surfaced, revealing the design, thanks to @evleaks. This reveals quad rear cameras with LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6-2.4/18-80 ASPH lens for the phones. However, there are three cameras on the front for the Mate 30 Pro inside the notch, and the Mate 30 has a smaller notch since it has dual cameras on the front. These phones are expected to retain 3D face unlock and in-display fingerprint sensor from the Mate 20 series.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G with Snapdragon 855 Plus, up to 12GB RAM and Mi MIX 4 5G concept to be announced on September 24

After rumors, Xiaomi today confirmed that it will announce the Mi 9 Pro 5G at an event in China on September 24th. It will also showcase the next-generation Mi MIX phone with 5G concept, which is rumored to come with a 108MP Samsung sensor, but the final phone might launch sometime later this year. The company is also expected to introduce MIUI 11 as well as new Mi TV models at the event. Realme RMX1991 with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 730G, 64MP Quad rear cameras gets certified [Update: Teased officially]

Update: September 16, 2019 – realme has confirmed that it will launch 64MP quad camera phone in China, after it got certified last week. It already confirmed that the phone will be called realme XT 730G in India, will be powered by Snapdragon 730G and pack 30W VOOC fast charging and launch in December. It will reveal the name of the phone and launch details for China tomorrow.

Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 get a price cut in India again

HMD Global launched the Nokia 4.2 back in May and the Nokia 3.2  was launched later in May. Today both the phones have received second price cut in about four months of launch, after a price cut in June. The phones are available at new rates on Nokia India online store and offline stores. These phones were introduced at the MWC earlier this year, come with dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and notification light on the power button and a dedicated Google Assistant button.

OnePlus’ ‘Tweet with #OxygenOS to plant a tree’ campaign gets over 27332 tweets in 24 hours

Yesterday OnePlus announced tree plantation drive to commemorate 1500 days of OxygenOS, in partnership with WWF India (World Wide Fund for Nature) for their Adopt A Tree campaign. It said that for every tweet with #OxygenOS, OnePlus and WWF India will plant trees. Today the company has announced that over the course of 24 hours, the campaign received over 27,332 tweets globally out of which 12,376 were tweets from India alone, for which an equivalent number of trees will be planted in association with WWF India. Motorola TV teased on Flipkart ahead of India launch on September 16

Realme has finally launched the most expected realme XT smartphone in India, as it had announced. Redmi K20 said to receive Android 10 update as early as October

[Update, Jan 3, 2020]: Xiaomi has finally started rolling out Android 10 based MIUI 11 update to Redmi K20 as well as Mi 9T in India and Europe.

[Sep 13, 2019]: The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones made debut under the Redmi sub-brand in China back in May, the company launched the Redmi K20 as Mi 9T in some markets later in June. Both the smartphones made their way to India under Redmi branding back in July.
