LG launched the W10, W30 and W30 Pro in the new ‘W series’ at an event in India back in June. Both the W10 and W30 went on sale in July. Now the W30 Pro is available from Amazon. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ FullVision screen with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 632 with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), features triple rear cameras with three different lenses: Low light camera, Depth and Wide angle camera, sport various modes such as normal, night mode, portrait, slow motion and wide angle. Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro with 108MP rear camera, 5x optical zoom, Mi Watch and Mi TV 5 series to be announced on November 5

After rumors, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will introduce the Mi CC9 Pro smartphone in China on November 5th. This will be the world’s first smartphone with 108MP 1/1.33-inch Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX  sensor to go on sale, since the Mi MIX Alpha concept phone that was introduced last month will be avialable only at the end of December. Facebook has announced that it has started testing Facebook News in the US, giving people more control over the stories they see, and the ability to explore a wider range of their news interests, directly within the Facebook app. “It also highlights the most relevant national stories of the day, said the company. Vivo iQOO Neo Snapdragon 855 Edition with 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, up to 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

Vivo introduced iQOO Neo, a mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 845 in China in July, now it has launched iQOO Neo Snapdragon 855 Edition, said it had promised. This has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ water drop notch with 90.0% screen-to-body ratio, liquid cooling, up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. Reliance Jio launches All-in-one monthly plans with 500 off-net IUC minutes for JioPhone users

Reliance Jio recently started charging 6 paise per minute for voice calls made to non-Jio mobile networks. After All-in-one plans, today it has introduced all in-one pre-paid plans for JioPhone users that offers voice, SMS, Apps, data, as well as free additional 500 minutes of off-net IUC calling to additional operators worth Rs. 40 with 28 days of validity. Moto G8 Play with 6.2-inch Max Vision display, triple rear cameras and Moto E6 Play with 5.5-inch display announced

After the launch of Moto G8 Plus in India, Motorola also introduced the Moto G8 Play and Moto E6 Play smartphones in Brazil, after recently rumors. The G8 Play has a 6.2-inch HD+ screen, is powered by Helio P70, has a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel 117° ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera. The E6 Play features a 5.5-inch HD+ screen, is powered by Snapdragon 435, features a 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. Motorola just launched the Moto G8 Plus, the company’s latest phone in the new G8 series in India, after rumors. It packs a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 665 with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 9 (Pie), which is upgradable to Android 10 and guaranteed security patches for 2 years. It has a 48-megapixel rear camera with Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, 16MP action camera similar to the one action and a 5MP depth sensor with laser auto focus and 25MP front camera. Samsung starts mass production of first 12GB LPDDR4X + eUFS 3.0 multichip package

Samsung at the annual Samsung Tech Day in San Jose, California announced that is has started mass production of first 12-gigabyte (GB) low-power double data rate 4X (LPDDR4X) UFS-based multichip package (uMCP). Samsung introduced 12GB LPDDRX chips with 1y-nanometer process technology back in March that combines six 16-gigabit (Gb) LPDDR4X chips (16Gb=2GB) based on the second-generation 10nm-class (1y-nm) process into a single package. Samsung Exynos 990 7nm EUV SoC with support for up to 120Hz refresh-rate displays, LPDDR5, up to 108MP camera and 5G Exynos Modem 5123 announced

Samsung has announced its latest Exynos 990 SoC, soon after the Exynos 980 that was introduced last month. This uses 7nm EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography processing technology for better power efficiency, same as Exynos 9825 SoC that powers the Galaxy Note10. This has tri-cluster CPU structure that consists of two powerful custom cores, two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. It has dual-core neural processing unit (NPU) and improved digital signal processor (DSP) that can perform over ten-trillion operations (TOPs) per second. Redmi Note 8 Pro Benchmarks and Gaming Review

Xiaomi under Redmi launched its Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone last week. We already brought you the unboxing and camera samples, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G90T 12nm processor with 2 x Cortex-A76 CPUs at up to 2.05GHz for performance and 6x Cortex-A55 GPUs at up to 2GHz  and has ARM Mali G76 3EEMC4 at 800MHz, 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.0 storage. LG G8X ThinQ with 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 855 global roll out begins Nov 1, price revealed

LG introduced the G8X ThinQ at the IFA last month,  and it started rolling out as V50S ThinQ with 5G support in Korea earlier this month. Today the company has announced the global roll out for the G8X ThinQ, which will be available in the U.S. on November 1 followed by key markets around the world such as Brazil, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Spain and Turkey over the next several weeks. It will be sold in the U.S. unlocked at $699.99 (Rs. 49,630 approx.) on Amazon as well as AT&T and Sprint. The company is also offering LG Dual Screen worth $300 for eligible customers when discounted through carrier agreements. It will be available for pre-order from Friday, Oct. 25 and will vary by wireless provider and retailer.

Meizu 16T with 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, up to 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras announced

Meizu just announced 16T, the company’s latest smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display from Samsung, TÜV eye protection certification, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM, runs Flyme OS with Android Pie on top, has a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide lens that is also capable of shooting 2.5cm macro and a 5-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots.
