Realme’s smartphone run ColorOS 6, based on Android 9 (Pie), and some of its latest phones have some tweaks so they call it ColorOS 6 realme edition. In the latest episode of #AskMadhav, the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth has answered some questions about their future OS. When asked about ColorOS 6.0.1, he said that realme phones will directly get ColorOS 7.0, which will likely be based on Android 10 that will roll out next year. Apple starts selling iPhone XR assembled in India

Apple launched the iPhone XR in India last year, and after a year, Apple has finally decided to assemble the phone in India. With this, Apple is expanding its portfolio of smartphones under the ‘Made in India’ scheme. As mentioned on the box, the phone is assembled in Chennai by Taipei-based contract manufacturer Foxconn. Apple started assembling iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 models in India by Winstron in Bengaluru, and it assembled the iPhone SE as well, but it is not on sale anymore. HONOR has announced HONOR 20 Lite in China, as it had promised. It has a  6.3-inch FHD+ OLED screen with in-display fingerprint scanner, Kirin 710F processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 48MP+8MP wide-angle + 2MP depth sensor, 16MP front camera, and a 4000mAh battery with 20W fast charging.

Redmi Note 8 series sold out in under a minute in second sale in India, next sale on Oct 25

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand launched its Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones in India last week starting at Rs. 9999 and Rs. 14999, respectively. These phones went on sale for the first time yesterday, October 21st, and were sold out in minutes. Xiaomi said that 1.5 million or 15 lakh people had shown interest to buy the phone, but it did not reveal the number of units sold. Vivo U3 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 675, triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery announced

Vivo has announced, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China.. It packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, is powered by Snapdragon 675 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with FuntouchOS, has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensing camera and a 16-megapixel camera on the front. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, gradient back and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

The phone packs quad rear cameras, that includes a main 64-megapixel primary rear camera with single LED Flash, 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 ISOCELL sensor with Smart ISO and ISOCELL Plus technology, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, has support for PDAF, EIS along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera with 120° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait as well as 2-megapixel camera for 2cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture. OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.0.4 update for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro smartphones. The update brings 50GB free storage in gallery for India. You can claim the free storage once per account, and is valid for 1 year for the day you claim it, said the company. This was announced at the launch event of the phone. HTC Exodus 1s cheaper native Blockchain smartphone starts rolling out

HTC introduced the Exodus 1 as its first blockchain-powered smartphone last year. It announced Exodus 1s, a cheaper version back in May and said that it will be available in Q3, now it has started rolling out the phone at Berlin’s Lightning conference.  HTC says that running a full Bitcoin node “is still quite experimental,” and it recommends that users connect to Wi-Fi and plug their devices into a power source while doing so.
