Motorola launched the Moto E (2nd Gen), the company’s latest budget smartphone in India last month. We already brought you the unboxing of the Moto E (2nd Gen), here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The new Moto E is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (8212) processor with 400 MHz Adreno 302 GPU. It has a 4.5-inch qHD screen and runs on Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop). But the CPU-Z shows it as Snapdragon 400 and the board as dual-core Snapdragon 200 (MSM8610), which is an error. Let’s check out how the smartphone performs in a range of synthetic benchmark tests. TRAI reduces roaming charges for calls and SMS

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today announced that it has reduced ceiling tariffs for national roaming calls and SMS. It also announced that special roaming tariff plan are mandatory for all the operators. Uber has launched uberAUTO, the company’s new services that lets you book a auto-rickshaw in Delhi. Uber currently has UberBLACK, UberX and the cheapest UberGO cab service in India. uberAUTO is currently cash-only service that requires you to pay cash at the end of your ride. Xiaomi sets Guinness World Record for selling 2.11 million phones online in a day

Xiaomi has entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for selling 2.11 million phones online in 24 hours during its Mi Fan Fest in China yesterday. The company achieved this feat in just 12 hours. It earned revenue of 2.08 billion yuan (US$335 million approx.) in just 12 hours. It made 170 million yuan from accessories alone. It sold 720,000 units of smart appliances, 247,000 set of Mi Power Strip, 208,000 units of Mi Band, 79,000 units of Mi Wi-Fi and 38,600 sets of Mi TVs. It also sold 403,000 Power banks, 336,000 Mi Piston earphones and 3.12 million units of Mi air purifiers.
