Motorola Milestone Review

milestone review

Motorola was a successful company that enjoyed peak sales with their RAZR series of phones. But the sales went downhill as they were not able to bring out anything new other than phones that were quite similar to the RAZR phones in design and functionality but in different form-factors.

Motorola desperately needed a new device to revive the company by boosting sales. The answer to their problems was the Motorola MILESTONE/ DROID. It was Motorola’s attempt to recreate the success they had with the RAZR phones and it did work. The Motorla DROID which was first introduced in the US and the Motorola MILESTONE which is the GSM Version of the same phone was released worldwide. Motorola has enjoyed record breaking sales of the DROID in USA and MILESTONE also has received great feedback. So the question remains is whether the Milestone with worth the money ? Lets find out Continue reading “Motorola Milestone Review”

Review: iPad cases from Speck

The first thing that makes Apple products stand out of the crowd, is it’s aesthetic design and elementary looks and that what makes Apple fan boys like us to show off our latest purchase. But the simple problem that lies with all the shiny gadgets in the world that it easily get scratched and smudges seems to swim all over it in no time and Apple products are no exceptions here. Exactly same thing happened, I got my shiny new iPad and within hours it’s oleophobic screen was full of smudges, I found a lint free cloth on old spectacle box and used it to clean the screen and with little force I had my first scratch on my iPad. Not only me, we have received hundreds and hundreds of mails from many early adopters asking us to suggest them a iPad case cover and even those who don’t have iPad and feels this post is not for you, I must warn you are missing something. Review : What I like about the Nokia X6?

Nokia X6

I’ve been spending some Time with the Nokia X6 recently, in Fact a lot of Time. I got ahold of the X6 thanks to Nokia Austria and was rather skeptic, as it seems to be a rather plasticky Device, but then again, it has Capacitive.. capacitive.. *drool*. First, I didn’t expect much, as the N97mini was the Device I was aiming for, but to spoil some of the Conclusion, I spent more Time with the X6, than the N97mini. Why?

Review of 3 Olive phones

The Indian mobile phone industry has seen unprecedented growth and emergence of new players in the market. Players like Micromax, Maxx, Karbonn have come from nowhere and started selling handsets in the lakhs.

Amongst them is a company called Olive. Olive Mobiles is a new entrant just like the ones above and many more. So what makes them unique you might ask, they all are the same after all! One look and you might say so. But a closer look reveals that it is not the same.

Olive phones have made quite a splash with their handsets. Engadget even covered one of their models. A feat, no Indian manufacturer I know has managed till date.

Olive has been very kind in providing us at Fonearena, three devices to review. We’ve put each of the handset through its paces and pushed it to the hilt. Continue reading “Review of 3 Olive phones”
