Google postpones next week’s Android 11 Beta launch event and Beta release

Google just confirmed that it is postponing its Android 11 Beta Launch event and the first Android 11 beta release that was scheduled for June 3rd. In a tweet from Android Developers account it just said that it will be back with more on Android 11 soon without giving any reason for the cancellation or when we can expect it. OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T Android 10 stable update starts rolling out

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS version 10.0.0 based on Android 10 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones. With this update, both the devices will get enhancements that are part of Android 10 features. Notably, this Android 10 will be the last update for both OnePlus 5 and 5T apart from incremental security and service updates for a stipulated period. Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 8 with Extended UI

Xiaomi’s Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 8 series in the country back in October running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and later rolled out MIUI 11 update to both the smartphones. The Pro variant has been the talk of the town since it is superior to the vanilla Redmi Note 8 in every aspect, but Redmi Note 8 has better custom ROM and mods support compared to its Pro sibling, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.

Redmi Note 8 Pro has already received Android 10 update but Redmi Note 8 still runs on Android 9, but you can always install a custom ROM to stay on the latest version of Android. OnePlus partners with Epic Games to bring 90fps Fortnite gaming experience to OnePlus 8 series

Sony Xperia 1 II US price and availability revealed, pre-orders begin June 1

A couple of months back, Sony introduced its Xperia 1 II (Mark 2) at an online event packing a 6.5-inch 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR display, Snapdragon 865 with 8GB of RAM and a triple camera setup featuring ZEISS optics. Sony has confirmed that 5G wireless bands will work in the US version so it will only support 4G and will work with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket and MetroPCS networks. OnePlus 8 Pro’s color filter camera will be disabled temporarily via software update over privacy concerns
