We hope, you’ve read about the Blackberry Venice which is set to be the first BB phone to run on Android and is apparently set for a launch on AT&T’s network in USA. Now, a new import listing shows that the Venice along with another model codenamed Dallas has been imported into India for testing purposes.
We have just noticed that there is a new TV Commercial launched by RIM India. The new TVC is for BlackBerry’s new BB OS7 based devices, BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9810, BlackBerry Curve 9360 and BlackBerry Torch 9860. The phone in the picture above is the latest full touchscreen device from Blackberry that has just been leaked. It is known as the Touch Monaco/Monza.
The new rejuvenated Blackberry Pearl series was launched in India recently and RIM did not reveal the price or exact launch date. But now a user informed us that he has bought the BB Pearl 3G 9100 for Rs.19999. Blackberry OS seriously needs a revival and looks like RIM is working on making BB 6.0 pretty interesting. A video which shows the rumored BB 9800 Slider running the latest OS has been posted on Youtube and looks like the phone is using a capacitive screen. Although the new UI looks pepped up , it still has the Blackberry roots. We also see a Cover flow for the Music player.

RIM unveiled a new service platform for Blackberry developers which will enable the developers to build highly responsive, location-aware and revenue-generating applications for BlackBerry smartphones.
