HMD Global introduced the Nokia X6 smartphone in China. Few weeks after the phone went on sale in China, the company has pushed a new software update that brings several new features including an option to hide the notch, similar to most of the smartphones. The update also brings updates to AI portraits that lets you swap the background.
HMD Global just announced the Nokia X6, the company’s first Android smartphone in the ‘Nokia X’ series in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 636 with up to 6GB RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with RGB sensor, along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera with a monochrome sensor, AI portrait and scene recognition and a 16-megapixel front camera with AI selfies with background blur, stickers and face unlock.
HMD Global is all set to introduce Nokia X6, a new mid-range smartphone in the new ‘X series’ in China tomorrow, May 16th. HMD Global recently confirmed that the Nokia X will be announced on May 16th in China and also showcased the phone at the Sanlitun experience store. Nokia TA-1099 got certified by TENAA in China that confirmed the complete specifications of the phone. Earlier this week it was reported that HMD Global will introduce Nokia X series smartphone in China on April 27th. Today new reports from China says that the company will introduce the Nokia X6 smartphone in the series with a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a notch design and 19:9 aspect ratio display. I’ve been spending some Time with the Nokia X6 recently, in Fact a lot of Time. I got ahold of the X6 thanks to Nokia Austria and was rather skeptic, as it seems to be a rather plasticky Device, but then again, it has Capacitive.. capacitive.. *drool*. First, I didn’t expect much, as the N97mini was the Device I was aiming for, but to spoil some of the Conclusion, I spent more Time with the X6, than the N97mini. Why?
