Samsung has announced the Galaxy Beam, projector smartphone the successor of their previous Beam. It has 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has 5MP Auto focus camera with flash, 1.3MP secondary camera. It is 12.5mm thick and weighs 145.3 g. uTorrent native Android client in the works

 

The uTorrent development team is working on a native Android BitTorrent client for smartphones and tablets, according to TorrentFreak. They released the µTorrent Remote and BitTorrent Remote apps in the Android Market last year that offers remote access to the desktop clients. There are several third-party uTorrent apps in Android Market, but you need to opt for a paid version to utilize the complete features. Some apps are not completely optimized for your device. Sony releases Android 4.0 beta ROM for select Xperia smartphones

Sony has released Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) beta ROM for select Xperia smartphones. They launched they alpha ROM as a preview last December, but this beta version brings a lot of improvements including functioning FM radio and GSM Radios. This has UI elements from ICS including some new UI features present in the Xperia S that was announced at the CES last month. HTC Ville and Huawei Prism shows up at T-Mobile’s list

Mobile World Congress is right around the corner, and smartphone giants such as HTC are ready to rock’n’roll at the mega event, also carriers like T-Mobile USA are getting ready to introduce new devices because we will be seeing a lot of new devices at MWC. According to a accessory list leaked by Tmo-News, which is telling us that T-Mobile will be launching HTC Ville and Huawei Prism soon as their accessories showed up in the list. ZTE to unveil 8 new devices including Windows Phone and Multi-Core Android phones at MWC 2012

ZTE has announced that they would unveil 8 new devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week. Samsung Galaxy S2 sales cross 20 million units

Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S2 sales (to channels and distributors) have surpassed 20 million units worldwide, 10 months after the launch. The 4.3-inch Android phone with super AMOLED Plus display was launched in Korea last April and later launched in other Asian and European countries Worldwide. 1 million units of Galaxy S2 were sold in Korea in the first 30 days. Google Docs for Android gets Real-time collaboration, Rich text formatting and more

Google Docs for Android has been updated to version 1.0.54 that brings new features such as real-time collaboration that lets you see updates in real time as others type on their PC, tablet or the Android phones. The new interface offers pinch to zoom that enables you to focus on a specific paragraph. It also has rich text formatting such as bold, italics, underline, font color and background color.
