Update: August 13 — realme has posted new teaser for the realme 5 Pro that says that it will be India’s first quad camera smartphone in the segment with a 48-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX586 sensor. The realme 5 is expected to come with a 13-megapixel or a 16-megapixel primary rear camera, even though it will retain the same ultra-wide sensor, Super Macro and depth sensing portrait lens.

Vivo’s iQOO brand has introduced iQOO smartphone in China earlier this year. Now the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G has been certified by TENAA with the model number V1916A, ahead of announcement on August 22nd. Reliance Jio at its 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) in Mumbai announced that Jio Fiber will roll out commercially starting from September 5th, 2019 on the third anniversary of Jio’s launch. This will reach 20 million residences and 15 million business establishments in 1,600 towns and will expand in the next 12 months, said Mukesh Ambani. It started trials for JioGigaFiber services from August 15th last year.

It will come with a larger 4000mAh battery, and 3C certification confirmed 45W fast charging compared to 27W fast charging in the predecessor.
HMD Global has sent out invites for its IFA 2019 event on September 5th to introduce new Nokia phones.
