Samsung adopted a new simplified naming strategy for its GALAXY range of smartphones. They have also launched new Samsung Galaxy W and Samsung Galaxy M Pro smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy W lie in the High Tier category that and it is for those seeking a balance between style and performance. The Samsung Galaxy M lies in the Mid-Tier range that is for those who expect better performance in the economic price-point. Samsung Galaxy series gets simplified naming, announces 4 new Galaxy Smartphones

Samsung has announced that they have adopted a new simplified naming strategy for its GALAXY range of smartphones. This would categorize the phones into five classes mentioned by a single letter. They have also launched new GALAXY W, GALAXY M Pro, GALAXY Y and GALAXY Y Pro smartphones that runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman Review

Back in 2005 , Sony Ericsson launched a line of Walkman branded cellphones. The W550i and W800i were to make up for the shrinking market share of Sony’s Walkman line of music players.

Nokia has started rolling out Symbian Anna update yesterday, for Symbian^3 phones like Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01. You can now update your devices to Symbian Anna at your nearest Nokia Care Center or Nokia Priority Partner for free. HTC rolling out Android 2.3.4 update for Vodafone HTC Sensation.

As I write this post, HTC is rolling out a maintainance update for the Vodafone HTC Sensation users. This update will also upgrade your Android version to 2.3.4. If you are a Vodafone HTC Sensation user then you will be getting this update over the air, so all yu need to do is grab your phone and the update to be shown in your notification bar.

Nokia Symbian Anna Update rolling out to N8, E7, C7 and C6-01

Nokia has announced that the much awaited Symbian Anna update is finally available for Symbian phones such as the N8, C7 , E7 and C6-01.  The update brings a new UI along with some improvements in messaging , maps and the browser. The update is available through Ovi Suite and as an Over The Air update.The Over the Air normally takes a bit longer to appear so you can try using Ovi Suite to check if your phone has received the update. The release also says that more than 10 Symbian phones will be launched in the next 12 months. The update is slowly rolling out to all countries . Have you updated your Nokia to Anna ? Let us know ! Samsung Galaxy S II 32GB Variant Spotted

So far the Samsung Galaxy S II has been enjoying incredible sales and with the white version coming soon, the numbers are only set to increase. But even the white one is expected to come in 16GB version. The 32GB version that was promised during the announcement is still unavailable.
