TomTom, a Dutch company that specialises in GPS products and fitness wearables, announced their range of athletic wearables in India. Between the Touch, Spark 3 and the Adventure, the company has lined up something at pretty much every price point. We spent some time with all three and here’s what we think of them.
Ride hailing firm Uber has signed a global multi-year deal with maps provider TomTom. Under the partnership, TomTom will provide Uber with digital maps and traffic data for the app used by its drivers.

TomTom is a well known navigation solutions provider and can be spotted in most automobiles fitted with a navigation system, be it cars or even public transport. It is also widely known that mobile phones have made specialized navigation devices a bit redundant by offering excellent capabilities for everyone that owns a smartphone. TomTom has previously released its navigation apps on all mobile platforms, but they have seen a staged roll out in terms of countries, and now it is finally available for India’s Android devices.

TomTom is one of the best dedicated navigation application out there other than Google Maps. TomTom’s services were previously available on the iPhone and also HTC had exclusively used their service for their premium devices. Now, TomTom has launched their official application to the Google Play store competing directly with Google maps.

TomTom is a very famous Dutch provider of automotive navigation systems and their devices are famous all over the world and they are also offering application for iOS devices like iPhone and iPod Touch and soon it will hit Android devices.
