Stephen Elop, the CEO of Nokia has said that the recently launched Nokia Dual SIM phones are seeing exceptional sales in the Indian market. Even though there are lot of Indian competitors such as Maxx mobiles, Micromax, Karbon  etc in the Dual SIM category, Nokia lead in the market share. Elop, on his second visit to India since he took charge as CEO of Nokia, said that, India played an important part in the company’s transition strategy. Nokia Symbian Belle Smartphones to get Microsoft Apps


Nokia has announced that they would offer Microsoft Apps, that are a collection of Microsoft productivity applications for the upcoming Symbian Belle phones. NTT DOCOMO to launch GALAXY Tab 10.1 LTE and ARROWS Tab LTE in Japan

NTT DOCOMO has announced that they would launch the docomo Tablet GALAXY Tab 10.1 LTE SC-01D and the docomo Tablet ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D. These are the first tablets compatible with its extra-high-speed next-generation LTE service, Xi (Crossy). Both these tablets come with 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) displays and features dual core CPUs running on Android 3.2. Chinese Search Engine Giant Baidu announces Android-based Yi OS for Mobile

Chinese search engine giant Baidu enters into the Mobile OS market with its Yi OS that is based on Android.  It was announced at Baidu World event in Beijing and it includes several Baidu apps such as Ting, their social music service, Shen Bian app similar to Google places, maps and a book-reading app. The core features such as integrated voice search would remain the same.
