After teasing the M7 smartphone with full-screen display last week, Gionee has officially announced that the phone will be announced at an event in Beijing on September 25th. It also confirmed that the phone will use Samsung’s AMOLED full-screen display and the phone will come with ultra-high security level data encryption chip as well as as pay security chip for secured payments. Samsung Galaxy Note8 global roll out begins starting from 42 countries

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note8 smartphone last month, and as promised, it has started rolling out the smartphone globally from today in 42 countries including the US, Canada, Singapore, Korea and major European markets. Samsung Bixby Voice assistant coming to India soon

Last month Samsung started rolling out its Bixby Voice assistant globally.  Today at the launch of its flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone in India, Dipesh Shah, MD, Samsung R&D Institute said that Bixby Voice will be available in India in the next few weeks for the Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. Samsung just launched the flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Infinity Display and comes with 12-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom and OIS for both. It has Iris scanner, fingerprint sensor as well as heart rate monitor, similar to the predecessor and is also water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes with IP68 ratings. Samsung announced 8nm and 6nm process technologies as well as second generation 10nm( 10LPP,Low Power Plus) technology earlier this year. Today it has announced  11-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology (11LPP, Low Power Plus) in its advanced foundry process portfolio for next-gen products along with 7LPP with EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography technology for smartphones. After recent leaks, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)  in Vietnam. It has a 8-inch WXGA, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor, runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and also comes in both WiFi (SM-T380) and 4G variants (SM-T385). It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Samsung has announced Galaxy C8, which is the Chinese version of the Galaxy J7+ that went official recently. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 2.39GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture to capture depth information.
