Sony Ericsson finally reports a profitable Quarter with 21 Million Euros Profit

Cellphone maker Sony Ericcson who was making huge losses for a while is finally reporting a profitable quarter. The company made a profit of 21 million euros in first quarter of 2010. Also the Average selling price of their handsets has risen by 14 euros. Are the good days  for Sony Ericsson about to return ? Only the sales of the XPERIA X10 and Vivaz will decide the current quarter performance. My Nokia OVI Maps Story – Navigation in Spain without Spanish

During Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, I had to face an unexpected challenge – Getting around Barcelona without the complete knowledge of Spanish.

Luckily for me just weeks before I started packing my bags for Barcelona, Nokia had announced that OVI Maps for going completely free and it was going to be available on a range of Nokia phones including the Nokia E72 which was my primary phone at this time.

Here are some great live pics of the just announced Nokia C6 posted by primaklimas . The C6 looks  like the N97 Mini with more rounded corners and a D-pad on the right. Apple To Announce Next Gen iPhone On June 22?

According to the rumors, Apple may unveil its next generation at an Apple event on June 22 at Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco. However, Apple’s hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date.

We have already posted that Apple may launch two different versions of iPhone this year. The next generation iPhone maybe named as iPhone HD while a CDMA version may be launched for Verizon. According to the rumors, Apple may unveil its next generation at an Apple event on June 22 at Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco.

500000 iPads sold in USA and International launch post-poned by a month

Apple just issued a media advisory today stating that it has sold 500,000 iPads in the first week of its launch. And the bad news is that they have postponed the international launch of the iPad by a month.  So expect the prices of the iPads in the unofficial channels to still be insanely high till May
