Dyson today opened its first Dyson Demo Store in Chennai, located at VR Chennai in Anna Nagar, making this is its fourth Demo store after two stores in New Delhi, and one in Bengaluru. The company entered India in February last year. The retail space has been designed as an interactive space to encourage visitors to pick-up, test and experience Dyson’s technology, said the company. Ola has launched ‘Ola Drive’, a self-drive car-sharing service to take on Mahindra-backed ZoomCar, Revv and others. The service is already live in Bengaluru with Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi to follow shortly. Ola said that it intends to host a fleet of 20,000 cars by 2020, 50% more than the fleet size of the entire industry put together. ZTE’s nubia brand just launched the Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone India, as the successor of the Red Magic 3, which was launched back in June. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with HDR support, 2.05mm narrow top frame, 1.8mm narrow left and right borders and 4.2mm bottom border offering 91.4% screen-to-body ratio and has TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. It the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and is the first phone in the price range to feature liquid cooling that will reduce the temperature of the phone by 4 to 6 degrees.
