Lenovo released the P770, the company’s latest Android phone with a massive 3500 mAh battery. We brought you hands-on video of the device from the CES 2013 earlier this year. Here we have the device for unboxing. It is has a 4.5-inch IPS screen at a resolution of 960 by 540 pixels at 245 PPI pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on-board with Lenovo’s own UI on top.

Huawei Ascend G510 Unboxing

Huawei released the Ascend G510, a mid-range Android smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 10990. Here we have the unboxing of the device. The Huawei Ascend G510 packs a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei Emotion UI. This mid-range phone lies between the Huawei Ascend G600 and the Ascend G330 that were launched earlier this year. We reviewed the Ascend Y300 recently.

HTC One UltraPixel camera samples and full HD video sample

The HTC One that we recently unboxed was really hyped up by HTC for one special feature, the camera. Bucking the trend, HTC went for a different approach by not counting on the megapixels. With just a 4 MP sensor, touting the pixels as an “Ultrapixel”, HTC sought out better image quality coupled with Optical Image Stabilization for better low light performance instead of the never ending megapixel race. Not only that, they also have a new video and still image experience in terms of software with HTC Zoe, capturing all the important memories in a sequential manner, without having to worry about missing a moment. Purple Sony Xperia Z Photo Gallery

You might have seen the Sony Xperia Z in the ads recently, and wondered why the purple one looks so unlike reality? Well, it’s rendered in CG and hence all you see are just fake reflections and colours. If you had read our Xperia Z review, you would know why we liked the waterproof aspect of this phone. We already had done a photo gallery too, but alas it was the white version. So, to show you the brilliant purple Xperia Z in its full “real” glory, we decided to take it out and give it a good look in front of our cameras. Google Nexus 7 dock hands on

The Google Nexus 7 Dock, made by ASUS, was quietly shown off at the Consumer Electronics show this year with no dates of availability or price. But it landed on the Google Play Store recently and we thought we should check it out. So, yes here it is, in our labs. It’s a fairly simple docking solution from ASUS, and it doesn’t have all those whizzbang features. It can dock your Nexus 7 and charge it, while at the same time output audio through a 3.5mm jack. That’s all it can do. Here is a quick demo of the dock –

A couple of days ago, an unlucky, not exactly tech-savy colleague of mine, returned back home from one of our storage halls, reporting happily that he just purchased a new Apple iPhone 4S for just € 135 from a random dude selling knife kits and iphones on the streets. Even though he’s no mobile expert, he was a little bit suspicious at first too, but ultimately decided to buy it. A bargain, right? iPhone 4S for such a little price? Well, you probably guessed it by now, it was a fraud. This is not an iPhone 4S.

From Sony’s new crop of Xperia, here’s Xperia E dual. Available in Stores and online at Rs. 10,990. The Xperia E dual would replace the Xperia tipo dual that we reviewed last year. This has a larger 3.5 inch display, powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor and is also upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (Note 510) Photo Gallery

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 as the Note 510 for the Indian markets at the Samsung Forum 2013 in Hyderabad yesterday. We got some hands-on time with the 8-inch tablet at the event. It has a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT Super Clear LCD display at 189 ppi pixel density, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. NEC Medias W – Dual Screen Android Phone Hands-On

NEC Medias W is one of the best products we had a chance to play with at the Mobile World Congress 2013. It is an Android phone with 2 4.3 inch LCD displays which can be used either together or separately. You can browse 2 websites at the same time , watch a video on one screen while checking your mail on the other. You can actually play the same video on both the screens simultaneously if you place the phone on desk. So two people can watch the video comfortably without having to bump into each other.
