We are currently at a stage in which screen sizes of phones have become obnoxiously huge and whenever a manufacturer releases its flagship, it’s almost a certainty that it is going to be bigger than the previous flagship. This is the trend, and some people were sick of it, including some of us. So, when Samsung announced the Galaxy S3 mini, it was supposed to be the S3 for people with smaller hands, and for people who were just sick of huge screens. But, does it live up to the expectations of a smaller S3, or is it a completely different phone which is just smaller in today’s standards? Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Benchmarks

We unboxed the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini (GT-I8190) earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Galaxy S3 mini was announced back in October 2012. It is powered by a dual-core NovaThor U8420 chip clocked at 1 GHz and has a Mali-400 GPU. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels ) Super AMOLED display at 223 ppi pixel density. Let’s see how the phone performance in the benchmark tests.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Unboxing

Almost six months have passed since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini in Europe. It never reached the subcontinent as Samsung had planned to launch other devices with similar specifications here, like the Galaxy S Duos, which is basically a Dual SIM version of the Galaxy S3 mini. However, there are lots of differences between the S3 mini and the S Duos when it comes to the internals. Just for comparisons sake, you have to know that the S3 mini looks exactly like the S Duos. Samsung Galaxy S3 mini with 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 announced

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S3 mini that surfaced yesterday. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels ) Super AMOLED display  and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 720p video recording at the back and a VGA front-facing camera. The design of the phone and some of the features are similar to the Galaxy S Duos that was announced in August. It also has some of the unique features that were present in the Galaxy S3 including S Voice, Smart Stay, Direct Call, S Beam and Buddy photo share.
