Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S receiving Android 2.2 in August, but only in S.Korea

Samsung Galaxy S is one of the most successful devices of Samsung this year , they recently launched the smartphone in South Korea and they sold more than 200,000 in just 10 days, that’s a big achievement. People who bought the Galaxy S in S.Korea are very happy, and they are waiting for only one thing which is missing in Galaxy S, the Android 2.2. Samsung Hub is reporting that Android 2.2 for South Korean Galaxy S is set to release in early August, which is more than a good news for S.Korean folks. August is around the corner so S.Koreans start waiting.

Sprint facing EVO 4G shortage, launches 4G coverage in 7 new cities!

Recently HTC launched 2 new handsets, Droid Incredible on Verizon and HTC EVO 4G on Sprint. Both phones are very good and both devices are current flagship devices of their carriers. But both phones are facing a problem, and it’s “shortage”. If you go to any Verizon store near you, you will not be able to buy the Droid Incredible from the store because of the shortage, but Verizon made a smart move and people who pre-ordered the Droid Incredible will get a Droid X, which is coming out on July 15. Cyanogen launches Android 2.2 ROM for G1 and MyTouch3G

If someone loves the G1 and MyTouch3G more than HTC and T-Mobile, then only one person, and his name is Cyanogen. Cyanogen is the guy who love making ROMs and hacking Android handsets, mostly G1 and MyTouch3G, and the reason he does that is because the manufacturer forgot to launch the update for the phone.

Motorola WX445 Android device leaked, headed to Verizon?

Folks over at Engadget got their hands on the leaked screenshot of an upcoming Motorola Android device that will hit Verizon. The phone name is unknown but it’s model number is Motorola WX445. it’s a low-end Android phone, that’s running Android 2.1 with MotoBlur, It comes with an unknown pixel camera, the touchscreen is about 2.5 or 3 inches, and it’s running on 1170mAh battery. Engadget is told that it’s not an impressive device like the Droid X or EVO 4G, it’s just a simple cheap device for casual use. One of Motorola’s most successful devices is the one and only Motorola Milestone, also known as Motorola Droid in USA. The Motorola Droid is the reason Motorola is still alive. And now the Motorola Milestone is making it’s way to Korea as Motorola QRTY via SK Telecom, and for the ease of the Korean people, the hardware keyboard also comes with Korean characters on it. Samsung Beam launching in Singapore

We saw the Samsung Beam, the first Android phone with built in DLP Pico Projector at MWC a few months ago. Samsung has announced the first country to receive the Samsung Beam is Singapore. The Samsung Beam will be available in Singapore via StarHub starting July 17. Samsung Beam is a very good phone, which comes with very good features.
