Looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in India through multiple channels.  The much anticipated Android phone will be launched at Reliance Digital Stores  across India on April 27th with a launch party for pre-booking customers in the evening in Mumbai. Certain outlets have started pre-bookings since yesterday. We had reported today morning about the Galaxy S4 going on sale on Samsung’s official online store on 27th.

Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070) in India. The Galaxy S2 got the Jelly Bean update in India earlier this month. The phone saw a huge price drop to Rs. 14,500 in India last month. Samsung announced the list of devices that would get the Android Jelly Bean update back in back in September 2012. Samsung Galaxy Note 510 priced at Rs.30900, pre-bookings open

Samsung India has revealed the price of the much awaited Android tablet from the company – the Galaxy Note 510 which was announced as the Galaxy Note 8.0 during Mobile World Congress and announced for India as the Galaxy Note 510 at the Samsung Forum in Hyderabad. The price for the 3G version which supports calling is indicated as Rs.30900 on the company’s online store.

Samsung Galaxy S4 to go on sale in India from the official eStore on 27th April

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S4 in India tomorrow, April 26th. The phone would go on sale from their official eStore on 27th April, a day after the launch, and would also ship on the same day. Samsung would usually start pre-booking for their flagship devices before the launch, but just the registration page went live few weeks back. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S4 at an event in New York last month. The company had already conducted the Galaxy S4 World Tour 2013 in London, Seoul and Hong Kong. Here is an exclusive unboxing video of the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 which is coming soon to India as the Galaxy Note 510. We have the 16GB WiFi only version with us but this tablet should be coming out in a WiFi+3G fashion too in India when it launches.Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 8.0  during MWC 2013 and showed off the Note 510 at its regional forum event in Hyderabad.It is a 8.0 inch Android  tablet running on Android 4.1.2 JellyBean and features a stylus known as S-Pen found on Samsung’s Note lineup of products. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to feature unbreakable OLED display

Rumors have surfaced that Samsung will debut the Galaxy Note 3 at IFA with a brand new unbreakable OLED display. The screen is expected to utilize a plastic substrate with active LTPS matrix instead of the glass substrate used on the current Galaxy Note 2. The screen will have an RGB matrix.

Samsung Galaxy S4 likely to launch in India on April 27th at around Rs.40000

The Samsung Galaxy S4 might be coming to India as soon as April 27th. The Korean smartphone giant is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in several countries across the world on April 26-27th. Samsung launched the much anticipated successor to the Galaxy S3 at a launch event in New York City last month . India is a key market for Samsung and would be getting the flagship Android device pretty soon. The S4 features a 5 inch display , quad-core or octa-core processor (depending on the market), Android 4.2.2 , 13 Megapixel camera, 2600 mAh battery and many other interesting features.

The Galaxy Mega 5.8 has a 5.8-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. similar to the Galaxy Mega 6.3. It also has dual SIM support with dual Standby and dual SIM Always On feature.

Samsung has finally announced the rumored Galaxy Mega line of smartphones. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is the high-end device in this series that has a 6.3-inch HD ( 1280 x 720 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. This phone lies between the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2 and the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 / Galaxy Tab 2 310. Huawei unveiled the Ascend Mate with a 6.1-inch HD display at CES 2013 earlier this year. We are currently at a stage in which screen sizes of phones have become obnoxiously huge and whenever a manufacturer releases its flagship, it’s almost a certainty that it is going to be bigger than the previous flagship. This is the trend, and some people were sick of it, including some of us. So, when Samsung announced the Galaxy S3 mini, it was supposed to be the S3 for people with smaller hands, and for people who were just sick of huge screens. But, does it live up to the expectations of a smaller S3, or is it a completely different phone which is just smaller in today’s standards? Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3 specifications surface

Samsung Galaxy Mega line of Android smartphones, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 (GT-I9152) and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 were rumored earlier this month. Now, Sammobile is said to have confirmed specifications of these two devices. The Mega 5.8 is expected to have a  5.8-inch qHD TFT display, and the Mega 6.3 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch HD PLS display. Both these phones would run on Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung’s own Nature UX on top. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 would have dual SIM support, and looks like a souped up version of the Galaxy Grand Duos, that we reviewed recently.

Samsung Galaxy Win that was recently unveiled in China has been officially announced for global markets. It has a 4.7-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) TFT display, run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Touchwiz UI and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has a 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 720p HD video recording and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes in single SIM and dual SIM variants. The Samsung Galaxy Win Duos has dual SIM support with dual standby and dual SIM Always On feature, similar to the Galaxy Grand Duos that we reviewed recently. Samsung Galaxy Y Plus and Galaxy Young now available in India for Rs. 6290 and Rs. 8290


The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus went on sale in India for Rs. 22,900 couple of weeks back, now Samsung’s new budget phones, the Galaxy Y Plus and the Galaxy Young are on sale in India from online retailers Snapdeal and Flipkart. The Samsung Galaxy Y Plus (GT-S5303) surfaced on Samsung India’s website last month. It has a 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 850 MHz  processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).  The Samsung Galaxy Young (GT-S6312) was announced back in February, and we also brought you hands-on images of the device from the MWC 2013. It has a 3.27-inch ( 480 × 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Both these phones have dual SIM support with dual SIM Always On feature.
