Samsung Galaxy S Advance Android 4.1.2 India

Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070) in India. The Galaxy S2 got the Jelly Bean update in India earlier this month. The phone saw a huge price drop to Rs. 14,500 in India last month. Samsung announced the list of devices that would get the Android Jelly Bean update back in back in September 2012.

The Jelly Bean update would bring faster performance with project butter, new Nature UX similar to the Galaxy S3 , 2 Homescreen modes, Google Now service, contextual search, Better notifications, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Pop-up play, and lots more features.

The Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S Advance is available OTA (Over the Air) and also via Samsung Kies. You can check for the update manually from the Settings, About, Software update.
