
After teasers, OPPO has officially announced today that the OPPO Find X9 series phones – Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be introduced at an event in China on October 16th. These will be the one of the first batch of phones that will be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 flagship chip that was introduced today.
The Find X9 series will also be the first phones to run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the phones, and the company has scheduled the ColorOS 16 launch for October 15th, a day before the Find X9 series are introduced.

The OPPO Find X9 will be the first phone to feature the new Tianma screen. The screen will adopt “super eye protection” as its core, equipped with full-brightness flicker-free dimming technology, and high-frequency PWM dimming exceeds the industry benchmark; it reduces the proportion of harmful blue light to 4.7% from the source material, so you will not easily get tired even if you look at the screen for a long time late at night; 1nit bright eye protection solution, soft light without glare.
Zhou Yibao, head of the OPPO Find series, revealed that OPPO has fully mastered the entire process of designing, producing, packaging, and debugging the “Bright Eye Protection Screen” through its self-developed dual-production line model.
This has brought low-brightness, high-precision circuits, a new eye protection substrate, and the new Display P3 display chip, achieving many effects on the OPPO Find X9 series of mobile phones.

Zhou Yibao earlier today revealed that the OPPO and MediaTek have maintained a deep partnership for many years. The newly released Dimensity 9500 flagship chip, enhanced by the Tidal Engine, promises even better performance. The Find X9 will pack a 7025mAh battery and the Find X9 Pro will use a 7500mAh battery, he confirmed.
The OPPO Find X9 Pro will feature a LYT-828 sensor, and feature industry’s first hardware capability to support dynamic triple exposure, as well as the industry’s strongest 200MP ultra-clear telephoto lens; the image quality also needs to be accurately “restored”.
The Find X9 series will come with “Hasselblad 8K Ultra HD Photo” feature that supports direct output at all focal lengths and is claimed to be available across the entire series. In addition, these have OPPO LUMO super-pixel engine.
OPPO has collaborated with Hasselblad to develop a custom imaging kit for the Pro, and the company has also designed imaging accessories for the standard edition.
