Samsung Galaxy Win Duos and Galaxy Fame Duos got a price tag earlier this week. Both these phones are now available from online retailer Flipkart priced at Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 10,900 respectively . The Samsung Galaxy Win Duos (GT-I8552) is listed on Flipkart as Galaxy Grand Quattro, but not on any other websites. The Samsung Galaxy Win was announced earlier this month and packs a 4.7-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) TFT display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The Samsung Galaxy Fame was announced earlier this year and packs a 3.5-inch ( 480 × 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. Both these phones run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and have dual SIM support with Always On feature that would forward calls to the other SIM. We were at the Samsung Galaxy S4 India launch event held at a pretty interesting location , the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon near Delhi. Samsung Galaxy Tab Duos 7.0, Tab 8.0, Tab 11 and Nexus 11 specifications surface
Samsung’s 2013 tablet portfolio to include the Galaxy Tab Duos 7.0, the Galaxy Tab 8.0, the Galaxy Tab 11 and the Nexus 11, according to a report from Sammobile. The Galaxy Tab Duos 7.0 would be a dual SIM version of the Galaxy Tab 2 or the Galaxy Tab 3 that was announced earlier today. It is expected to feature a 7-inch (1024×600) PLS LCD display and powered by a dual-core processor. It would be the first dual SIM tablet from Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 image surfaces online [Update: Fake]
Alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 3 image has surfaced along with the rumored specifications. According to the Baidu user, the image is a prototype of the Galaxy Note 3, so Samsung might change the design. The Galaxy Note 3 is expected to feature a 5.99-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by Exynos 5410 Octa with the A15 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and the A7 processor at 1.7 GHz and run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Samsung readying its India plant for manufacturing the Galaxy S4
Not too long ago, Samsung proclaimed in their REX series launch event that they had started to manufacture those range of devices at their manufacturing facility in India. They also proudly touted that the R&D was completely done in-house as well. While the R&D might still take longer for higher end devices, Samsung has announced that their Noida facility will undertake the manufacturing of the Samsung Galaxy S4 real soon, in order to meet demand. The Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched a couple of days back in India and you can see the unboxing of the Exynos 5 Octa Indian version here.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with 7-inch display, Android 4.1 announced
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab 3, successor of the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 that was unveiled last year. This has a similar 7-inch (1024×600) TFT LCD display, but it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box. It has a 3-megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It would come in Wi-Fi only and 3G variants similar to the previous tablets that would also support voice calling. It also comes with better connectivity support.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Benchmarks
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 8.0 at the MWC 2013 earlier this year. Samsung announced at the Samsung India Forum 2013 in Hyderabad last month that the tablet would launch in India as Galaxy Note 510. Samsung put the Note 510 for pre-order last week at a price tag of Rs. 30,990. Here we have the benchmarks of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5110), Wi-Fi variant of the tablet. Even though the tablet which we tested didn’t have 3G support, the benchmarks are likely to be similar since these are powered by a Exynos 4 Quad (4412) CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz and a Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Same had used this processor in the Galaxy Note 2 that was launched last year.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Exynos 5 Octa Benchmarks
The long awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched in India today to provide tough competition to the HTC One and Sony Xperia Z. As expected, it is the Exynos Octa version of the handset that has been launched in India. Developed by Samsung and using the ARM big.LITTLE architecture, the handset is expected to deliver exceptional battery life.
While the chip does have eight processing cores, the heavy lifting is to be done by four of the Cortex A15 type chips clocked at 1.6 GHz. Meanwhile the remaining four Cortex A7 chips running at 1.2 GHz will assist during less intensive tasks. ARM’s hypervisor working at the kernel level will switch between the A7 and A15 cores depending on intensity of the task involved. While we’ve just begun to scratch the surface of the Samsung Galaxy S4, here are a few preliminary benchmarks to give you an idea of the kind of performance to expect.

Here is our unboxing video of the retail package which will go on sale in India today at several stores across India mainly in Delhi , Mumbai , Bangalore and Hyderabad.The Indian version packs Samsung’s Octa-core processor which is a combination of a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

Samsung to launch ruggedized Galaxy S4 Active, 8-inch Galaxy Tab coming in July, says WSJ
Samsung is expected to launch a ruggedized version of the Galaxy S4 that is likely to be called the Galaxy S4 Active, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal. It will be waterproof and dust proof, but it would look similar to the Galaxy S4, according to the report. It also says that the device would be launched this summer. Samsung Galaxy S4 launching at Reliance Digital stores on April 27th
Looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in India through multiple channels. The much anticipated Android phone will be launched at Reliance Digital Stores across India on April 27th with a launch party for pre-booking customers in the evening in Mumbai. Certain outlets have started pre-bookings since yesterday. We had reported today morning about the Galaxy S4 going on sale on Samsung’s official online store on 27th.
