Apple introduced the iPhone 5s gold edition recently, BlackBerry launched the Q10 Gold Edition and even Samsung joined the party with the Galaxy S4 Gold edition in Gold Brown and Gold Pink colors. Now HTC has unveiled the Gold HTC One. Unlike the other gold colored phones, this one is made of 18 carat gold and costs 2,750 GBP ( Rs. 2.72 lakhs approx.). LG Chem begins mass production of curved batteries for flexible smartphones

LG Chem, the leading battery manufacturer and an arm of LG Electronics has announced that they have started mass producing curved batteries for their upcoming smartphone with a flexible display. Yesterday LG Display announced that they have started mass producing flexible displays. A recent report revealed that LG is working on the G Flex smartphone with a curved OLED display. Celkon has launched Campus A15, a new smartphone in the Campus series. The company launched the Campus A10 recently with 3G support. The Campus A15 has an entry-level smartphone with 2G support, which is also the cheapest smartphone from Celkon. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) similar to the Campus A10. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has dual SIM support with dual standby. It comes pre-loaded with Interactive games and Zapya sharing app that lets you shake to trasfer data. HTC One Max to finally launch on October 16th, comes with a fingerprint scanner

The HTC One Max might be one of the most leaked devices ever, with virtually everything known before its launch. It was rumoured to have launched at IFA, but the company seems to have finally fixed on a date for the official reveal. According to a Taiwanese invite, the One Max is all set to launch on October 18th, in Taiwan, and the existence of a finger print scanner has been subtly hinted on the invite. The invite reads –

Update: Two days before the Taiwan event, HTC seems to have scheduled another event on the 16th for the same, in Hong Kong.

NTT Docomo is all set to announce their winter product line-up on the 10 October. Sony Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F) / Honami mini , a mid-range phone surfaced recently, which is also expected to be headed to NTT Docomo in Japan. Now the Samsung Galaxy J (SC-02F) , a high-end smartphone has leaked by a Korean blog. Samsung released the Galaxy S4 LTE-A for Korea back in June with a Snapdragon 800 chip, the Galaxy J is also rumored to come with a similar chip. BlackBerry has announced multi-platform cloud-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution to manage users and apps on Android, iOS and BlackBerry. Announced at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2013, this is aimed at both business and end user needs. This doesn’t require any IT experience, servers, or software, says BlackBerry. The company already launched BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, multi-platform Mobile Device Management (MDM) for BlackBerry , Android and iOS devices, and recently released BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 Version 10.1 for Business users. Sony Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Sony launched the Xperia Z1, their latest flagship Android phone with a 5-inch 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 processor in India recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. As you can see on the image above CPU-Z says that it is clocked at 2.15 GHz. The Xperia Z Ultra was also powered by the same chip. Let’s find out how it compares with other high-end devices in various synthetic benchmark tests.

Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series last month. We brought you the unboxing last week, here we have the complete review of the tablet. This is one of the first Android tablet to feature a 4:3 display. This is also the first tablet from Micromax to pack a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor. The Q700i has almost similar features including a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). After all the hype surrounding the golden iPhone , we are always on the look out for golden phones.If you have been following us closely , you must have read about the Samsung Galaxy Golden which was launched in South Korea back in August. It is an interesting flip phone running Android and features dual 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED displays , one on the inside and one on the outside. The phone goes by the model number SHV-E400S in case you are planning to get your hands on one. Sadly no video but we have plenty of photos of the phone and the retail box for your viewing pleasure.

LG begins mass production of 6-inch flexible OLED smartphone display

LG Display, the display arm of LG Electronics has announced that they have started mass producing the world’s first flexible OLED display for smartphones. This comes after a report that LG is working on the G Flex smartphone with a curved OLED display. LG did not reveal the display resolution of the panel but it said that the display size would be 6 inches. It says that the this would be the world’s slimmest display among existing mobile device panels and would weigh just 7.2 grams. Krrish 3, a highly anticipated Bollywood movie this year, is following the same route as previous big budget Bollywood as well as Hollywood movies by releasing a game just before the movie release. The Krrish 3 game is now available as a free download, but as a timed exclusive on Microsoft Platforms – Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8. It is currently available for download on Windows Phone 8 and it is expected to arrive on Windows 8 by the end of this week. Here’s the game’s trailer released on YouTube –

LG G2, the company’s flagship phone that we recently reviewed, is very much a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S4. In that sense, LG have followed the tradition of releasing competing features and accessories similar to the S4, and that includes the Quick Window case for the G2. Google Nexus 5 complete specifications revealed in leaked service manual

Specifications of the Google Nexus 5 were detailed in the leaked log file recently. Now the official sketch, images and the entire specifications have been revealed in a leaked internal service manual. The phone has a model number LG-D821 and would sport a 4.95-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display, powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and run on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat). It is expected to come with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
