HUAWEI introduced MatePad 12 X (2025), the company’s latest tablet for global markets, after it was unveiled as MatePad Air 12 in China last month. The tablet has an all-metal body that weighs just 555g and is 5.9mm thin, and has a large 12″ 2.8K 144Hz LCD screen with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.
The new Ultra-clear PaperMatte Display features High Precision Nanoscale Anti-glare Etching Technology that reduces surface sparkle by 50%, and its unique paper-like touch, says the company. With 99% of light interference eliminated, this screen is ideal for outdoor usage, adds HUAWEI.
The tablet has advanced 3D heat dissipation architecture and a precision PCBA-level 3D dispensing process. By efficiently transferring heat to the screen and rear shell using high-thermal-conductivity graphite and a custom 3D vapour chamber (VC), it delivers a 27% performance boost, says the company.
The tablet packs a large 10,100mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, a 6-speaker setup, and can be paired with additional accessories like the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and M-Pencil Pro.

The HUAWEI MatePad 12 X (2025) comes in Greenery, and White colours and is priced at 649.99 Euros (USD 763 / Rs. 67,265 approx.) / 599.99 GBP for the single 12GB + 256GB model. The tablet is already rolling out in Europe and the UK.
